Not sure about KMart, but I can confirm that you can get Arceus from EB Games on Diamond and Pearl.

Got one in Perth, West Australia at the EB Games in Carousel Shopping Center, on Pearl.

K-mart and EB games:
Download Arcues via Mystery Gift on D/P/Pt, only need to have the Pokedex.

If you want to know for sure, just ring them in advance. I'd wager that every EB would know for sure if they have it, but I'd presume that some of the Kmart employees wouldn't have a clue about it, so you wouldn't necessarily get confirmation from asking them. But I think the downloads might simply be done from a specially set up DS nowadays(I don't know for sure, but I think I heard something along those lines around the release of one of the others), so it could potentially be at almost every store without causing much hassle.

Well I'm not sure how it works, as in what actually gives you the Arceus but I just went in the store, turned on my ds and a message came up saying "Mystery Gift Available click 'Mystery Gift' on the next screen.'
Then you just go Mystery Gift > Wireless and you get Arceus.

Yes..I just got it today
it seems that you can only get 1 Arceus from EB games and Kmart
I thought you could get 2, one from EB one from Kmart.....

EDIT: Is it possible to SR for a shiny Arceus?

Well I live near Lismore NSW and there isn't a store that has the Arceus for about a three-hour drive(probably exaggeration)! At least, there isn't a store that does this in the whole Northern Rivers even though there are plenty of Kmarts and EB Games. The event is centred around capital cities...it sucks because now I can't get Arceus ;(

They'll most likely release him over Wi-Fi for Platinum later on... And that one won't be level 100, so you'll actually be able to EV train it. :P
