What are you watching?

I'm planning to watch the next episode of best wishes soon.=)

I'm watching BW weekly (I'm two episodes behind) and here in Portugal we get a DP episode per day, during the week (weekend is for repetitions). The last one I watched was the second battle dimension episode.

It had been the longest time since I watched the Kanto journey of Ash and friends, so I recently queued it up on Netflix, should get disk one tomorrow. I'm very excited, haven't seen the originals since it was new.

On one hand I'm happy Mamepeto turned out to be a girl because Ash needs more females on his team and it goes against the stereotype in the games where male trainers typically only have male Pokémon, and vice versa for female trainers. On the other hand, when it evolves it won't be sporting that awesome Zorro-like mask T_T

Or you could argue the reason Attract didn't work on it was because it was gay.

...Wait, if Tsujara (I just call it that. :P) was female, and Mamepato is Female, and it didn't work.... am I missing something here?

No, a female Mon using Attract on another Female Mon does nothing. I was just saying that I could still kid myself hope for Ash to have the Zorro bird if I go with the theory its gay.

Well I watched the BW episode.

I liked that Mamepeto was a girl aswell. Tsutarja I thought was cool. The way Tsutarja reacted when Ash protected Pikachu gave me the impression it may have been through alot prior to meeting Ash. Though I might be overthinking things. I really like Ash got her though.=)

Next I'll be watching some Pokemon episodes on TV next week. Apparently it's galactic battles but we'll see. I'm so far behind when it comes to DP episodes and haven't seen much of galactic battles. So it'll be great to see them soon.=)

That sounds exciting. I have my season 1 boxset pulled out ready to watch myself for when I get some time. It's a favourite of mine.=)

Doesn't sound like over-thinking to me, just good ol' speculation. While I don't think it was owned by a trainer prior to Ash catching it (that distinction always seems to belong to the fire-starters he catches), it was caught off guard by Ash protecting Pikachu. Me thinks it had a pretty low opinion of humans/trainers prior to this meeting. Maybe we'll get a backstory for it in the future, but for now I too am happy that Ash caught the smug little thing.

As for what I watched last, I finally got my copy of Pokémon 4ever in the mail this weekend (ordered the damn thing in August. But it was on sale for $5 and I didn't have to pay shipping on it, so it's not that bad.) I had seen it before, but it had been awhile. Two of my bffs returned from college for the weekend as well, so they came over and we spent a good 4-5 hours doing nothing but watching Pokémon/making fun of all the stuff that doesn't make sense on the show, along with talking about random other things that aren't relevant to the topic.

All the stuff we watched:

• Pokémon 4ever
• The Birth of Mewtwo
• Mewtwo Returns
• The Sabrina Arc in Kanto

Spinning tops more important than magical monster cockfights? What nonsense is this?

Whatever you choose I'm sure it will be entertaining to watch. (Unless it's Johto, then you might have trouble finding an enjoyable filler to view.)
