Your water staple

Is there a water type you always have to have? Mine is my Gyrados.

In my case its Staryu and Starmie. They are on just about every single water type team I have ever formed including my signature team on Diamond which I call my Misty/Kasumi team since its an almost perfect replica of her's from late Johto.

Politoed (although it's just recently I realized how really cool he was), Lapras, Feraligatr. I'm gonna have those on my team in HG for sure.
And I can never forget the time my Chinchou saved me from utterly devastation when I was fighting Jasmine. I had only it left, vs. Steelix, and knocked it out with Surf. Then, it evolved.

Mine is my Kingdra...he know water pulse, aurora beam, dragon pulse, & hydro pump.

Politoed is one of my favorites as well and I strongly prefer it over Poliwrath especially since its versatile and also adorable. The one I have on the team I mentioned before has taked out some frightening electric types in online battles such as Luxray and even Electivire in one shot using Earthquake. Why some people hate Politoed I will never know especially given that fact.

I ALWAYS have to have Milotic; if anyone has been to my emotionally connected to pokemon thread, then they know.....
