How do YOUR parents handle you going on the internet? Do they watch over your shoulder a lot or do they just shrug it off? Some parents don't know the diffrence from being overprotective to giving their young adult their privacy. How do your parents handle it? My parents just shrug it off, just as long as I don't join Facebook or watch p0rn or things like that. How do YOUR parents handle you on the internet?
They don't do anything at all :) I was online all day today.
My mom is trusting of me with everything on the internet, so we never have problems lol
Mom thinks everyone on the Internet is either an automated system or a pedophile. Even on the few occasions where I'm able to convince her otherwise, she's still of the opinion that I spend way too much time on the computer. She doesn't understand that this is currently the only way I can get any substantial amount of social activity.
My mom is fine with it. My sister is fine with it, as well as my dad. My mom has even said it: "I don't care what you go on as long as it isn't FaceBook, porn, or MySpace."
I'm not allowed on 4chan, but that's about it.
This is basically the only website I go on, besides Gmail and school stuff. My parents don't really care about that. I don't have a Facebook or MySpace account, so that makes them worry a lot less.

same as above except for facebook. you see a cousin made me a facebook account and I've had it for two years now. but the problem is I almost never use it.
I only have one question. Why no facebook?
