Some of you might have heard that Bioware, creators of the excellent Knights of the Old Republic (though not the sequel), is making a MMO, The Old Republic. Here is a trailer, and quite frankly, it's one of the best trailers I've seen. I'm not much of an MMO-fan, but I just got to have this game...
It looks like a spectacular game, but unfortunately I dislike MMO enough to not get it.
Yeah, even though I strongly dislike MMOs too, I think this is a must-buy. I'll live with it.
I just watched the trailer again and damn, that looks tempting. The in game graphics don't look as good as they should though in my opinion.
I never bought any of the star wars games because I always fear it'll fall into that stereotypical "video games based on movies suck!" But this game looks really good.
There are a few Star Wars games that are actually really good. KOTOR was spectacular, the Rogue Squadron series was pretty good (until they started doing that third person shooter ground shit), the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series was pretty good. I think the Star Wars universe is vast enough to be exempt from the "video games based on movies" law.
Yeah, this game most likely has an amazing story, based on the two previous KOTOR-games, though Obsidian made the sequel. Still, I would like to know what happened to Revan, did he die, did he find the true sith? I'm very tempted not to go Jedi/Sith (I'll probably play Republic, so jedi) due to the classes looks nice, and no one knows the last two classes are at the time. Going berserk with a lightsaber does sound very nice.
I want it on 360!!!!!!!!
I heard the first kotor was released on steam and D2D, and also, the Xbox versions of both play on 360.
But this game really looks great.
I have kotor I, cant find II anywhere... but i read in a mag that they might be releasing tor for PS3 and 360... but I cant find any conformation D:
all biowares games have been console so far, so I'm hoping they stick to that policy.
