My faves are Kyon and Haruhi. Kyon shows us a normal human can be cool without powers or kung-fu or anything. Plus, he's sarctastic. I'm sarcastic. And I like sarcastic people. And then Haruhi has this air around her that just makes you to like her.

Well, I went to NYCC/NYAF last weekend, and let me tell you, I was surprised when I saw that they were doing a screening for Disappearance. I decided to go, and out of all the guests that were possible, we got to see Minori Chihara, Yuki's seiyuu. Then, I sat through the entirety of Disappearance, and if I can tell you one thing, it makes up for the failure that was Endless Eight and then some.
My favorite characters are Haruhi and Kyon because well they kind of contradict each other. I like Haruhi because she's so random and crazy all the time and doesn't really care about what people think while Kyon is sarcastic, smart and calm and likes to be the voice of reason which more than makes up for Haruhi's reckless behavior.
My favourite is Mikuru. She's adorable and I feel bad for her because she's so abused XP My second favourite would be deciding between Haruhi and Kyon.
