I'm going to be honest. I started playing Sonic games back with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and yet... I actually enjoy the more recent games more than the old ones. Like, I loved Sonic Unleashed (although the Werehog sections DO tend to drag a bit), and I even enjoyed Sonic 2006. Yes, it was a glitchy mess, but underneath that, there were some good ideas, and the plot was pretty decent. And I like Silver.
Sonic 06? I enjoyed that game. It was worth the 5 bucks just to glitch the shit out of that trash because it's possibly the glitchiest game I've played in my life. Oh, and the plot. I had a good laugh at it. From the poor voice acting to the amazing ending.
Honestly, and I do know how ridiculous Sonic plots often are, I did appreciate the attempt at a somewhat serious plot. I prefer at least an effort over things like the Super Mario games, which are just the same thing over and over again. The voice acting really didn't bother me. There is far worse than that, trust me. Soulcalibur IV and V are recent examples of that.
Sonic 06 was fun at the wave ocean bridge where you die on it and also the loops where you walk up the top and walk around on the top. Flying boxes. Thanks silver, I wanted to go to space Oh hi tails, are you ok, you did fall in the lava pretty bad Ok, your okay! WTF! YOU DIED AGAIN!
