Ying-yang rumours

Hiya my friends, i've heard rumours that Ash gave Gary that ying-yang necklace when they were young, do you all think its true, or fiction?

Sure, I think it's possible that it was a gift from Satoshi. It was established in the anime in the form of a flashback that Satoshi and Shigeru were friends that did things together (at least, we know that they went to the movies together) and friends do get gifts for each other. To me, it being a gift from Satoshi is plausible because Satoshi might see the yin-yang symbol as being an appropriate symbol for their friendship. I mean, Satoshi and Shigeru are sort of like opposites, with Satoshi being the rash and act-before-you-think type of person while Shigeru is more cautious and practical. Yet they both share a deep connection, with Satoshi always trying to prove himself to Shigeru /imitate him and Shigeru always showing up after a big win of Satoshi's to keep his perspective in check so that he understands that he still has a real long way to go before becoming a master.

I guess ur right, thanx anyways^^ I think i might write another palletshipping story. Any ideas anyone?

I agree is ShigeSato. Its definitely a possibility as for ideas, You could try one with vampire and werewolves like you said you'd try mewachu. I can't really think of anything just now but i shall get back to you

It's very possible that the yin-yang was a present from Ash, and I'd like to think so, so when Gary changed outfits and the yin-yang vanished, I was rather disappointed. The other explanation behind the necklace is that it was a gift from his parents, since we don't see them much. I dunno, it seems to have lost its value in shipping, since he no longer wears it. :<

Maybe if it was from Ash he stopped wearing it, as a way to let go of the past and the old dreams he once had you know?
Like wanting to become a pokemon master as well.
But now since he's researcher, his outlook has changed.
But even if he did get rid of the yin-yang, dont be so down, he still has the other half of the pokeball...
