Hey i have always wondered, where did Ash's Pikachu come from? Who had the Pichu? Was it ever a Pichu?
It may have been from the wild, or Prof.Oak bred it with full happiness to Level 5 which is when all Pokemon start from in the games.
thats highly possible.. i also thought that maybe it evolved from the notched ear pichu with Damos.. and lost its notched ear.. and forgot its past? or maybe its descendent
The Notched-Ear Pichu was from long before Ash was born...
yes. Before Poke Balls. When they were known as Magical Creatures. BTW Sammy Oak had a PokeBall and he is probably a lot older than Pikachu who had a Ball with a lightning picture.
ya the fact that there were no pokeballs and pokemon roamed around freely, maybe thats y ash's pikachu doesnt like the pokeballs
I say Pikachu lived in the wild with his mom & brother, Sparky (Ritchie's Pikachu) as a Pichu. He was called Pikachu then, 'cause he was really strong for a Pichu. He & Sparky evolved early, but later, Prof. Oak caught Pikachu & took him away from Sparky & his mom. The End! A PokeFanGirl Production!

& it would explain why Pik & Sparky seem so close.
