No, because that would make ash Gary's Uncle, plus we know ash is only child, and blue is Oak's grandson, so either ash is blue's farther (impossible!) or oak has different children (logic). Impossible in every regard.

While it's not impossible, i doubt it. I don't think event he animators have decided yet...

ash's father WAS introduced in the first season of pokemon cant recall which episode but when ash was in danger his farther comes into save him , it never shows his face just that he has cloths like a hobo (no lie) and a beared nothing more after that episode they NEVER showed him again ( it showed in the episode that as he was healing ash he says something like "you have grown alot since i last saw you ash, i wish i could have been there to watch you grow up").

he then dissapears before misty and brock find ash

Are you sure you're not referring to Brock's dad? He looked like a hobo, face was covered, and had a beard...

Sorry for really late reply, but no i remember brocks dad i liked him, but as i said i really cannot recall the episode but i will trawl through them and see if i can find it again

i just looked through series 1-3 and cannot find it even in the banned episodes but I really do remember seeing it, it is the episode where ash,misty and brock are in what looks like a coastal city when a BIG storm hits, ash gets separated from the others and manages to get him self into trouble (as he does) when the Hobo rescues him and takes him to get warm, they get talking and he says that to ash and before the misty and brock turn up he makes his exit. does NO one remember this episode apart from me? (feel so alone . . . and partly insane at this moment)
