hold up! aren't there even better fanfic that have a theory of Aaron being Ash's father?
I honestly think it's Alder. His father went on a journey right? His father must be a champion! He also calls Ash "Ashton," which would make sense if he had gone away when Ash was little, before Ash went by Ash.
