We have all have one at least! Or maybe we like them all, but why? What makes them so different from the others?
I honestly don't know... It's a tie between EB and M3 for me to be honest. Mother 3 was awesome (and it totally made me emotional), it was pretty funny and had some darn good moments. But recently I've been getting back into EB and a lot of the stuff I forgot (I played when I was younger, 2nd RPG ever). I really liked it's pleasant surprises and funny, extremely random, moments that appeared literally out of nowhere (AKA your dad calling to tell you you've played too much). It's like real life yet completely not. So I don't really know, but probably those two. Mother just got on my nerves with the amount of encounters you had to go through (though don't get me wrong, I loved its humor and music too, maybe I just need to re-play it)...
I would have to say Earthbound. It has a great plot, the characters are well-designed, and the Final boss is unforgettably Awesome. It is also has some hilarious quotes.
"Green green. I'm new to this."
Mr. Saturns are my favorite, they are just so cute!
I just have to say Earthbound. While Earthbound Zero (Mother 1) was the only one I played (online), I like Ness. Like
Mother 1. The original. It's just underliked. And awesome. Yeah, the originals rule.
