Little Shop of Horrors has been performed by big name theater companies a handful of times, and to this day is still put on as school plays. Have you ever seen it on stage? Did your school perform it? Did you perhaps manage to be a part of it? Tell us your story!
Unfortunately, I've never seen the entirety of Little Shop of Horrors performed in front of me. But a local university has an annual event where they celebrate Broadways and musicals, and this year they celebrated Little Shop of Horrors. They performed a selection of songs from the play, and showed off the first digital Audrey II ever produced (as far as we know). The actors were great, I had a lot of fun. The Audrey II wasn't that impressive. But what do you expect when you make the actors turn and talk to a character that's on a screen and not actually there?
Not "on stage", it was a black box play, but I've seen it performed by a high school drama group. The actors were all incredibly talented!
I've seen the full musical on stage performed by one of my university's societies. There were 3 members of that society taking part who I know from the Duke of Edinburgh society and the Pokémon society.
I saw a high school production once, and it blew me away.
I was able to go to a local high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, so luckily now I can't say I haven't seen it! It was really good. I really enjoyed it. :3
