I felt that his official art is the main reason for the hate to sprout, because Mijumaru's sprite, anime art, and even the manga made him looked better than the official art. However, first impressions are important, and we already had him portrayed as "ugly as possible". That's unfair. However, times had changed; the pig becomes the subject of hate. I suppose this means the victory is here now.
