The math we learn is totally inapplicable in all areas of life, with the exception of a few jobs that I have no interest in whatsoever.
*sigh* Math... you know, 1-10th grade math isn't so hard. I was even half a year before anyone so I got some high school math (you go to high school at 16-17 yr old here). it. is. fucking. hard. I'm actually behind now and it's never happened before. I'm taking high school science and english as well but no problems with that, just the math. and it doesn't help that I'm all alone in a classroom filled with kids that are learning something completly different and ten times easier than I am. Curse you Icelandic school system, curse you -_-
Oh yeah, and guys, don't ask me how many math tests I'VE failed
I don't like math because it's so objective. There's no room for interpretation, like in English and History; 2 + 2 has always and forever equal 4. There's no metaphor behind that, and there's no hypothetical alternate reality where the square root of -1 is a real number. It's just dull, artless fact.
I was put into pre-Algebra this year. Right now I have a C-. DAMN YOU, ALGEBRA!
MMMAAATHHHHH ITS EXTRA HERETIICAL *BLAM* *BLAM* EAT MY LEADD ARISTOTLE AND AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM
It's really not that hard for me yet because I'm only in Algebra I, but I hate it anyway. I don't care in the slightest.
Math is such a turd. I got back my grades in all classes, and obviously math was the worst. The homework takes me so much time, and I always get way more problems wrong than everyone else. Now my math homework is taking forever...DSLJFLKSJFLKESJFLEWJFLKJLSJSLKFLJSJKLSFJKLSFJLKSJLKSFJLSKFNLSKNFLKSFNLKZMFLZFLKSAJFDJFOEJR IJOIJDAJFDAPJFPAJAPJFPAJFAHFOIQHROIUWEIREIOAGJ....
