Well, as predicted that's the discussion we need in this group. What's your favourite flying type pokémon and why? I love Pidgeot over all others. Here's the story how our love started blooming : ) It's fun that flying wasn't my favourite type at first. At first I was so much unto normal type, I tought the cutest and most awesome pokémon were from there (I fought alot against ghost-type opponents with normal pokémons which had some other type TM's taught and allmost allways won :)), but then I found my long lost love, Pidgey and its evolution tree. Pidgey reminds me from some birds that I used to feed when I was kid and when I did a bit a research about Pidgey and found some epic fanart from Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot I fell in love =) So, how does your stories look?
My favorite is Togekiss. In Platinum right before the Pokemon League I decided to train a Togepi. I thought it was underrated so i gave it a go. I evolved it and now it is the strongest pokemon on my team
Flying-types are one of my new favorite types... although Ghost and Psychic are still up there as my favorites. Definetly Skarmory, though. It's served me very nicely in Ruby, Pearl and Platinum. :D Either that or Tropius. I have like... three different Tropius bred (one's for my Grass monotype on Emerald, another for my Flying monotype on Ruby which is going well, and one for competitive battling). Tropius is just an awesome Pokemon in general. I mean... it's a big banana bird... thing.

Skarmory is awesome! And it's (after Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot) the most coolest looking bird EVER! And with right trainin' it'll become one of the best competitive battiling birds!

Crobat is the greatest flying pokemon ever, my first pokemon capture was a zubat from red, and ever since then they have never failed me. It has awsome speed and can learn a wide variety of moves,including grass. It's stats alone make it one of the best, not to mention it looks awsome.

Any flying-type pokemon that can learn Fly. It's just so kewl to only have one pokemon in your party but still travel all over the place, but if I had to pick one, it'd be Charizard cuz my fave types are fire and flying <3
