Anyone else a bit sad that you can't backtrack? I missed the Zagan Summon Tablet and the Second Chest in the Psynergy Training Grounds. :/
Yes it sucks. If it weren't for me looking up how to get one of the Djinn on gamefaqs I would have never known. Not to mention the Zagan summon tablet was is a pretty obscure place to begin with. I usually try to avoid walkthroughs but I'd like to know when the next point of no return is. I'll look through guides and post where you can't backtrack (in spoiler tags of course.)
well it um the animal city after getting the feather and a big event then there two or three missable during that and getting the boat though it sorta cinufseing there was a area were u frost but u had no water user in the first point of no return. anyone notice that?
Heh, I found the Zagan tablet by just randomly looking everywhere. I learned back in The Lost Age, Djinn can be where you least expect them on the world map, so I take the time to look for them... I did miss the second chest in the Training Grounds, though, and I am kinda sad I can't go back to get it. >_> I'm only at that water city/temple thing though, so I guess I have a lot of game ahead of me.
Yes, after missing the Second Treasure Chest in the Training Grounds and the Zagan Summon tablet, I vowed to check every nook and cranny in the game. I downloaded the Gamefaq's Djinn List/Locations and the Prima Guide. I don't like spoiling myself but the OCD in me is screaming NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Insight got me a Djinn... can honestly say Fireball never crossed my mind as being the psynergy I needed to use to get it... Was tempted to leave the stupid thing behind >_>; Edit: Just checked a djinn guide to realize I missed a summon... FML... so tempted to go back to my Pasaj save and do it all over again... Would have if I had missed the Djinn... thankfully could just restart and grab that real quick before I go past the third point of no return...
I've been mostly fortunate with this. A ton of wild overworld Djinn appeared where I wasn't expecting. [And two exactly where I predicted them to be based on how they were found in the last games] None of the obscure puzzles have skipped by me. I've found that if you see something suspicious, chances are you CAN tackle it right then and there. Just think carefully. And you're not missing much with that second chest at the training ground. I did the quest again to get more exp from the dragon. I think that chest was a Water of Life, though I haven't had reason to use one just yet. Actually, I haven't had need of an inn. At all. Unless it was part of the storyline. I can heal completely right after a boss battle and recover the PP on my way to the next destination. For that matter, I've forgotten to heal and move on straight to the next place. I think I've had one person near death once, and that was Rief. Anyone finding it... a bit easy? The puzzles are still quite awesome though.
Oh yes for some reason I've been breezing through the boss battles. When I can't summon rush I usually restart the boss battles so yeah, it's been easy. Still it's an RPG so I'm not going to make it harder for me LOL. I play for the storyline, not necessarily the level grinding. xD

I think I was 45 or so for the final boss, he was a little difficult, but that was probably mostly my fault. Dullahan is the true final boss, to be honest ;) Summon Rush is the only way to even have a chance of beating him
Apparently my friend didn't summon rush. ;A;
