Shadow Dragon: Win or not?

Y'know, as one who spends a lot of time lurking on Fire Emblem boards, I've heard lots of people saying that Shadow Dragon sucked. I'm curious to know whether or not this opinion is shared with others who aren't necessarily hardcore fans of the series. So, yeah. Opinions thereof?

    Myself, I seriously liked it.

It doesn't suck, the thing is that it doesn't have any of the stuff other games introduced to the series.....It's good.

Win. Not quite as win as Blazing Sword and Path of Radiance, but still worth getting.

The reason it didn't "introduce" anything new to the series was because it's a remake of the very first game. But as far as remakes go it's pretty solid. The storyline is kind of aged, but I suppose back then it seemed more original. That's about all I dislike about the game, though. :/

Shadow Dragon is full of win. It's the NES original on the DS with improved graphics and sound. It's especially worth getting when you consider the NES original was exclusive to Japan.

It was...okay imo. I liked the gameplay and the wifi, but the characters and story didnt appeal to me. It was a win but not an outstanding one. But thats just my opinion.

they couldn't untill FE7. It's not like that's something strange.

Personally, I didn't like Shadow Dragon. I had grown used to the 3D Fire Emblems that didn't thrive on Arenas and Master Seals to get characters big. Also, I couldn't get a strategy guide, so there's no way in hell I can beat it.

It's a mixed bag, and Fire Emblem 12 (#3, book 2) will likely be more of the same
