    Just list yours.

    Prince > Michael Jackson
    Radiohead are vastly overrated.
Top 40 pop isn't all bad.
The Rolling Stones and The Who aren't that great and are way past their prime.
Surf Rock might as well be deleted from history.
Syd Barret leaving Pink Floyd was the best thing he ever done.
Graceland by Paul Simon is 98% likely to be better than what you're listening to.
    Hall & Oates are awesome.
David Bowie should have quit in the 80s
Prince should have quit in the 90s

    I second Gaga's statement.

Also, love is not a good subject to write a song about.

I dunno. I want to agree with you, but I'd say the music I most attach myself to is 60s/70s. It feels more important, better, artistic to me. I'd take Bob Dylan over Bon Iver any day.

I'm not sure it's quality, maybe just dwindling interest for me.

Woah woah. This thread is about unpopular opinions, not blatant lies!

The Smiths were not alternative rock.
