Kill 'Em All is probably my favorite Metallica album. Synny and I bond over it. In my dreams. I got Baroness' s Yellow and Green today. I've really taken a liking to Baroness lately. Fantastic stoner metal.
I got U2's The Joshua Tree and Count Basie's Basie's Big Band on cassette today. :D
Cassette? Fucking hipster :p I have three albums coming, a Basic Channel comp, that Autechre boxset and a Pole album. I think the Autechre is due to be dispatched mid feb :(
I got AC/DC's entire discography today.
I got Fates Warning's Awaken the Guardian and Pelican's Australasia on CD today. :D The former is fantastic progressive metal, and the latter is fantastic post-metal. I got the best of both worlds with this purchase; Fates Warning is technically dazzling and boundlessly creative classical riffage, and Pelican is completely off-the-wall crazy, beautiful, and brutally heavy.

Just got Boston - Greatest Hits and The Best of Eric Clapton from Walmart's $5 CD bin. Shame that they're thrown in there (although the Boston one was actually $7, so I could have complained about false advertising, hehe), but that means I can get my old rock cheaper than buying from music sites/services. I've gotten so many CD's from the $5 bin in the past year... think like, 10-15 or so. And all of them have been old rock, except a Johnny Cash one.
