It looks a lot cooler than Electabuzz, plus it has Motor Drive. Pretty nifty.
I will respond first then. I love Electivire because of its great stats, movepool, ability and its design. You know how Elekid's head is shaped like a power plug? That is supposed to connect to Electivire's back which looks like a power point.

I have suffered at the hands of DracoMaster121's many Electivires multiple times, and it's hard not to be filled with wonderment and awe when confronted with one. My Snorlax can beat him of course.

Electivire is a good pokemon. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have powerful physical STAB moves. Thunder Punch and Wild Charge aren't very powerful compared to Thunder. A signature Electric-type physical move with high base power, like 120, would put a smile on my face. And it needs to be a part-Fighting type poke. Badly. His movepool simply screams that.
That moepool full of Low Kick, Cross Chop, and so many others? It sure does. But hey, with its 90 base power boosted by STAB, Wild Charge is actually quite strong. And I don't think they'll give it a signature move anytime soon, since they already gave it a no-longer-signature Ability.
But Wild Charge's damn recoil is annoying. Electivire needs something like a physical version of Thunderbolt without recoil. That would be great.
