That's in-game. If it fought my Ninjask at equal level, it would outrun Rayquaza, for sure.
Yeah, for sure. I once fought an Aerodactyl in a wi-fi battle and my timid Gengar outran it. Anyway, a couple of days ago, I received a Rayquaza from the GTS. This one was caught in either HG or SS, has a timid nature, 31 IVs in speed and 20 IVs in special attack, so I was vey lucky to get this. I have EV'ed it and this is its current moveset: - Dragon Pulse - Thunderbolt - Air Slash - ? I'm thinking of Earth Power and Fire Blast but I can't choose between these 2 moves.
Rayquaza isn't the fastest Pokemon, and I don't see T-Wave anywhere, so I'd ditch Air Slash and go for both E-Power and Fire Blast.
That's right but I am not willing to replace Air Slash. So I'd probably get rid of Thunderbolt.

I think it depends on what you're ultimately aiming to achieve. I've got an Absol who knows both Thunder & Thunderbolt so he can be an unexpected threat to Water/Flying types he may face in battle. If you want your Rayquaza to be the same, keep Thunderbolt, otherwise just get rid of it.
Cool idea. I will keep Thunderbolt and get rid of Earth Power.
Mine knows Outrage, Fly, Extreme speed, and hyper beam. Yeah, I know it's the normal moveset but it works!
