Raised Southern Methodist/Baptist, but I prefer private, nondenominational worship and belief. Science can't explain what existed before"the Big Bang(creation", so the answer is that God did it, and Jesus finalized the process for its inhabitants.0 God, Jesus Heaven, and the afterlife exists outside our universe, in an unscientific Heaven beyond what mortal minds can piece together theories about. I can imagine heaven being above all that which lives, without needing to guess what, who, when ,where and why, or anger people with different opinions. That is worth shooting for, being at the ultimate observational point, with no need for constraints of flesh. When God's son died so I can have that point of view, I have a good reason to be good. It's so rational, it could speak for all, and I wish that sort of reasoning would stop religious infighting and Science vs. Religion debate, since the latter's higest source created the processes science describes, but puts it into mortal imagery. Easy as pie...I blame Leviticus for prejudice in this world. Christians aren't supposed to follow that, Peter's vision said that Jewish laws and customs(Leviticus)were over with, and freedom was granted. Therefore, homosexuality, fetishism, and other non-missionary sexual acts are technically permitted by the Bible, and the Letters were add-ons the Romans kept on in order to keep their culture stable without compromising their new official religion. Their endorsement of "The Leviticus selections" allowed the Roman stance on production of Children over pleasure, and to hate and convert by force, rather than respect and casual conversion, are why Africa is messed up. why Europe has two distinct halves, why WASPs and their European and African equivalents are in power, due to their ability to use religion to persecute for profit. I'm not letting Muslims off the hook for their part in messing up Africa, though. They endorse way too much of Leviticus, yet I don't recall Muhammad saying that was in the trash, according to the Quran. This is why people should spread the word to get Leviticus taken out of the Bible and Quran, by Doing what Invisible Children did with Joseph Kony and YouTube:Stop Leviticanonicity now. Help the Catholic Church, the Protestant Church heads, The Muslim community, and the Orthodox churches realize that all the hate that Christians and Muslims pour out is due to this ancient social mistake. If we work together, we can end hatred for our future by not allowing Leviticus to be these religion's source of hate and fear any longer. STOP LEVITICANONICITY NOW. THE FUTURE WILL BE A BETTER PLACE FOR IT. WE CAN CHANGE RELIGION USING THE POWER OF THE INTERNET. WE WILL GET LEVITICUS REMOVED FROM BOTH CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM'S CANON. I will soon start this group.

I typically consider myself non-denominational, but my beliefs align most closely to those of Baptists. I take interest in all parts of Christianity, however, and was quite excited about Pope Francis, despite not being Catholic.
