This topic is for us to discuss scenes throughout the Pokemon series and movies that reflect the respect or love that we have for Ash. If you have any moments that you'd like to share, feel free to list them.

Some scenes that show why I admire Ash are:
    a. The beginning of Pokemon I Choose You where Ash talks about his determination to be the greatest Pokemon trainer.
    b. Pokemon Scent-sation where he rescues Erika's Gloom.
    c. His heroics in The Lost Lapras and Pikachu Re-Volts.
    d. In Snow Way Out, where he wants his Pokemon to stay warm.
    e. Hot Matches when Ash is training Cyndaquil
    f. The scenes in BW episodes 18 and 35 where Ash is training Oshawatt.

Too many moments to name. Pokemon movie 2 has so many moments in which I respect/admire Ash Oh heck every series/movie does..

    1. Movie 2: When Ash decides to get that fire ball through the Pokemon who are battling each other.

    2. Movie 2 Again: When Ash frees the Pokemon with all his might/Pokemon.

    3. Movie 3: When he reaches out to Molly.

    4. Movie 3: When he goes after his mom.

    5. Movie 9: When he stays behind, sends May and Pikachu off and trys to handle things himself at the end of the film.

    6. Movie 9: When he fights off that evil Pirate.

    7. Movie 8: At the end of the film, when he trys to help out Lucario with his arua powers. {I would have put this moment up higher on the list but I couldn't think of it till now, sad I know.}

    8. Movie 4: When he jumps on that other Team Rocket member to help Cerebii, sends an attack from Pikachu on him.

    9. Movie 5: Ash running after Latias at the start, ok I just found that scene is all.

    10. Movie 5: When Ash went to go help Bianca with Latias help.

    11. The ending was adorableXD

    12. As you said, episode 1 where Ash went all the way to save Pikachu.

    13. When Ash and his Pokemon were in a snow cave, Ash was willing to sacrifice himself for his Pokemon. It was an episode in the Kanto series.

    14. When Ash was willing to help James get free from that evil twin Jessie {Sort of LOL} Again Kanto.

    15. This time in D/P, In that tag team episode where Ash had Pikachu hit that Rhyhorn on its horn. That impressed me, HA not just me but the people he was fighting against tooXD

    16. The episodes he used Contest moves in the gym battles, I always loved it when he did that whether AG or D/P.

    17. When he beat Paul in the league, Freakin loved that!

    18. When he tried to save that Riolu in that two part Hunter J episode. He even was using his arua power. At the end, he was so sweet to it they had a special bond. I loved these episodes, they are from D/P.

    19. From the Same two part Hunter J episodes, when Ash kicked that Pokemon in its face {Forget the name of the Pokemon} It was epic though.

Again, too many to name sorry LOL.

In the episode Friend and Foe Alike, I admire Ash's determination to get to his battle with Ritchie. I also love the episode Pikachu's Goodbye, where he is willing to release Pikachu into the wild so it can be happy. The first episode, where he protects Pikachu from the flock of Spearow, is really awesome too. Here Comes the Squirtle Squad is also a great episode. Ash puts his own life at risk to get a Super Potion for Pikachu!
The Lost Lapras is another great episode. Not only was Ash incredibly heroic, but this adorable screenshot is from it:

So, what I'm trying to say is that I love when Ash is heroic!

HA Egghatch you and me are a lot a likeXD
  5. AshK
    AshK
Any scene where he's risking his life to save his pokemon, sometimes not even his Pokemon but wild ones or other trainer's. Gotta respect that because I would not have done any of the wild things he has to save a pokemon (if they were real)

    Same here!! =D

    Heroic Ash is awesome. x3

I also love any scene where Ash has a "dense" moment, such as in "Chikorita's Big Upset". Clueless/dense Ash is so adorable!!

And finally, I love all the episodes where Ash gives a big speech, such as the first episode (speech to the Spearow), "Pikachu Re-Volts", "Hour of the Houndour", and other episodes. <3
  7. Kakuna Matata
    Kakuna Matata
Any scene where he's bonding with his friends and Pokémon. Far too many to list. xD

The ones where he steps in the way of Pokémon attacks to protect another Pokémon, be it his own, another's, or a wild one...I guess the sentiment can be appreciated, but boy is it jarring. Makes you think he's been hit by one too many Pokémon attacks to wise up and use his other Pokémon to save them (if the situation permits).

    actually that's movie one

and my fav is the special with mewtwo, why do you need a reason to help someone?
  9. Ash Ketchum!
    Ash Ketchum!
His attitude during the battle with Tobias, he showed determination even though he was losing so badly. And when Ash and his Pokemon were stuck in the snow cave, Ash was willing to sacrifice himself for his Pokemon, but his Pokemon sacrificed for him as well, showing a great bond.
