One Piece??? I love that series, tied with Pokemon as my favorite anime. Though with CoC and Devil fruit in that series, they could switch it up and give Ash a devil fruit power like a what if type special.
I would like to see Fairy tail (look it up!) and Pokémon cross over, Ash has the power of aura instead of magic

Fire Emblem, because I want to Ash and the cast dressed in capes. Plus with magic being a big focus I figure Aura could fit in there somewhere. That or Silent Hill, it would be so sweet to see a twisted version of the Pokémon World~ Oh, maybe older Resident Evil too, with Pokérus taking the place of the T-Virus. It would sorta turn out like this picture. Movie-wise, maybe Inception with going into dreams via the Dream World or some other Pokémon logic? Or Star Wars, because Aura would equal The Force nd present yet another opportunity for Ash to take advantage of his connection to it. And if you throw Giovanni in there as Vader we get the "big twist"~

Fiesta! okay maybe not I think I've made it fairly well known who I think Ash's daddy is by this point. I know that it's spliced with Deoxys. I said it would be similar, not exactly like it. (Though other than the snippet in the desciption for that picture, I haven't read any of that fanfic. Based on the pictures for it it looks pretty sweet though.) That fiesta line made me think of this video and then of Pokémon/Higurashi crossovers. (Ash going on a killing spree after Pikachu's death is a sad thought. That said, I love that people took the time to make those videos. Lot of dedication there.)

OBJECTION! yeah what he said. and the last two are kinda scary. though in my fanfic I want Ash to be CRUSHED in all aspects of his life, his family destroyed in front of his eyes, him attacked everyday at school by the entire school, and being attcked at Pallet as well because of his condition (which was subtly hinted by Gary Oak that Ash had, by subtle I meant he said it in front of the entire town during one of his grandfather's speechs)
As much as I love character whumpage, that seems to stroll into parody territory.
