Ash the aura Guardian

welll? what did you click this for? would you like to have him as an aura guardian or not? if 'yes' at what age will he start? will he have riolu? who will be his 'teacher' ? and other questions! if 'no' why'd you click?

OH come on NO ONE wants Ashy-boy to be like his ancestor? not even own a riolu

Well I'd like to see more of him using his aura power, wonder if the Best Wishs writers will add that?

I hope they do too. Ash's aura powers should be incorporated into the anime a lot more.

I fangasmed when they introduced the concept of Aura. *Star Wars fan* In my HCs, he is Sir Aaron's descendent, through his mother's side of the family, and they're extremely distant relatives of Lady Ilene and Riley. :D

However, I don't see it being brought back anytime soon. Unless we get another Pokémon that has Aura as a main focus of its fighting style, there isn't much of a reason for the writers to bring it back. As it stands now, it seems to have been more of a gimmick than a solid part of his character. Since Aura training isn't a part of any of the games (though you could argue Colosseum and XD had something akin to Aura with Rui and Michael being able to identify Shadow Pokémon, the latter using a machine to do so.), that may make the writers less inclined to resurrect the topic.

That said, I would be ecstatic if it was brought up again. I like where the following fanfic seems to be going with it, though it doesn't have a set schedule for updates. And I'm a little bit sad that Ash and Gary aren't really buddies in it. ;_;:

but we all know that won't happen don't we ashfangirl? because Lucario and riolu are the only aura pokémon (so far).
