Aori Q&A

Yes... for me to post this is a little bit lame HAHAHA. But, anyway, why not?
I'll start with the basic questions and you can ask anything you'd like. Any topics is good... from Photoshop to personal life to anything :P

What's your REAL name?
My real name is Abigail Alana. My last name? :P you can find that on my Facebook, haha. Anyway, for shortness' sake, anyone can just call me Abi.

Why Aori, then?
Actually, I don't know. Me and my friends were looking for some "Japanese" sounding names to call ourselves and I just selected one at random. Aori is an actual Japanese name - at least, it means something in Japanese, haha. It's an species of squid (aori-ika) and, curiously, one of the many side meanings to Aori is "a gust (of wind)". I didn't know this when I chose it, which makes it all the more weirder. Why? Well, if you noticed, my real name, Abigail, also has a part that means a gust of wind xD ("Gail", Gale). I NO RITE? MIND-BLOWN! HAHA

How old are you?
I am 19 years old.

Are you a boy or a girl?
Haha, I don't know why anyone WOULDN'T know this, but, yeah, as you may have noticed, I'm a very very VERY girly girl, hands down xD

Do you like Argentina? How about California?

I don't like Argentina D: I mean, uhm... having lived here all my life I can say this: Buenos Aires, the capital city, is, in SOME parts of it, a beautiful city, but the problem is that there are neighborhoods that aren't so great. We have a lot of crime, and there are a lot of grim-looking districts, with the streets full of thrash and the walls full of graffiti. The center of Buenos Aires is actually amazing, with a lot of tall buildings, very lively. But then you have certain train stations with homeless people living in used mattresses and protecting themselves from the cold with cardboard. It's so cruel, so sad to see those things. And Argentinians are so dang stuck-up and vain - they always think their opinion is better than yours. I hate my society. So overall I would say I don't like Argentina and I'm going to leave as soon as I possibly can xD

I have been to California but I was, uhm, I think 5 years old at the time? So I remember nothing D: it looks like a lovely place to live in, though. I'm sure I would love the city life and going to Disneyland everyday! hahaha

Another question, how did you grow so well in making graphic artwork?

Haha I don't know if I'm that good but... xD it was mostly just practice. I made my first website (with self-made graphics, too) when I was 6 years old. Some years later I got Paint Shop Pro, and afterwards, Photoshop, which I been using ever since :) You just have to be very inquisitive and curious and check out a lot of tutorials and you'll start getting the hand of it.

I read the first post - and, wow!! O_O I'm impressed by your writing, I love it. I specially like the descriptions. They make you feel like you're really there. When I read both posts I'll bump your thread with a comment, I promise! :3

Where would I wish to live... hm... anywhere in the US :x probably Florida, because it's where I'm most used to go to. But really, anywhere. California sounds nice, it has very good weather. New York doesn't have such a good weather in the winter but err I can just escape to the south of the country then XD
To sum up, I would LOVE to live in a big city. Something like LA, New York or San Francisco. Most people feel confused in the city and wish to "go somewhere else" to escape while they are vacationing but... I love city life. I love the cars and the traffic and the big lights.
However I usually vacation in Orlando. Although it's not a "city" in the New York style, it's good, too. I love being close to Disney World. Because I always go there, I feel like Florida is my second home.
Basically... anywhere but Argentina -_-;
