What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
There is already a thread about the astrological signs, so I thought I'd make a thread about this zodiac.
For info, how to find what you are according to Chinese Zodiac...
It depends on the year you were born in, but thanks to Winstein, we have more exact dates. ;)
I suggest you check it out if you have a birthday early in your year.
CHECK THE SPOILER for General info.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EARLY BIRTHDAYS IN YOUR YEAR (LIKE, UP TO MARCH), I SUGGEST THIS CHART.
In case I left out your birth year, all you need to do is add or subtract 12 years to it, then find the result in the above list, as the one cycle equals to twelve.
In my case, I am a snake. :)
I don't think much of it, but there are fortune charts printed everyday here according to the Chinese Zodiac that gives advices for readers, such as "Watch out for accidents" or "Be prepared for surprises". XD
Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
I'm a pig. Really nice coincidence. xD *pokes avatar*
I used to want to be a Dragon or something cooler, but now I guess I have grown to like my Chinese Zodiac.
Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
Me, my dad, and my grandpa are all Dogs :)
Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
Hmm, I'm a Rooster lol.
More specifically, The Water Rooster.
"competent, lively, academic, motivated by ingenuity and practical."
Thanks.
Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
I'm a rabbit. Don't judge me.
Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
I'm a rooster. If anyone makes a joke about that...

Re: What are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?
Dragon! Fortunately.
However, the Chinese Zodiac is actually counted based on the Chinese New Year, so if you're born on the 1st of January, 1988, even though it's considered the Year of the Dragon, you are considered as born in the Year of the Rabbit, because Chinese New Year was on 17th February 1988. Therefore, you should reconsider if you are born early in the year. Mintaka, I suggest you update the Original Post with the following dates to reflect this change:

Thanks for reading.
Oh thanks. You're talking about the Lunar Calendar, right?
I didn't realize that. I forgot my brother was close to becoming a Rabbit since he used the Solar Calendar for his ID number (while most Koreans used to use Lunar date)
(You mentioned the perfect case!)
I should re-edit my first post. Thanks again. ;)
