Thread: what type of computer do you use?

I alternate between my Acer laptop and custom-built desktop depending on what I'm doing. Desktop for games, laptop for work, and both for browsing/media. My laptop is aging, though, and I'm thinking of replacing it with a Windows tablet or something similar, like the iPad and iPod touch. I'm finding that while these are all really nice options, the price ranges are kind of turning me off to the idea.

I use a desktop computer...I don't know the specifics now since I'm at school.

When I'm at school, I mostly use a laptop that the school lends to students.

Darr... I accidentally voted Mac because I used to have one (it broke) so now I have a laptop. But my laptop is a Mac.

Mine's a Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 7. I ditched 7 and installed Ubuntu Linux by myself. I use Windows for gaming only and Ubuntu for practically everything else.
