Thread: Which Temperament Are You?

Melancholy temperament. Let's see some select traits:

Sensitive to anguish of others - I suppose, but only if I'm close.
Analytical - How nice xD
Artistic or musical - I like to think so, more so the former.
Appreciates beauty - Who doesn't? ;)
Neat and tidy - True.
Cautious to make friends - I am a bit guarded, I try not to be though.
Will listen to complaints - I like listening to rants, sure. :P
Moved to tears with compassion - This does not happen often, but I do react strongly.
Self-centered - I admit I can be very much so.
Moody - And of course the same here.
Skeptical - Sometimes to a fault but it has done me more favors than not.

Choleric, fits me pretty well. Even the bad traits.

Self-sufficient - I hate relying on people
Born leader - I don't like following people that may be less qualified than I am
Dynamic - I have never let an opportunity pass without grabbing at it
Practical - Why waste energy?
Compulsive need for change - I changed my username about 40 times, take the hint. I like change occasionaly.
Must correct wrongs - I never let myself forgive my sins till I have repented
Unemotional - The world is a cruel mistress when you wear your heart on your shoulder
Strong-willed - I used to play guitar until my fingertips bled, box until the skin off my knunckles would be torn off, and write for hours at a time
Independent - I don't like relying on people
Optimistic - It's a beautiful world but you have to take the evils with the good.
Not discouraged easily - I would of never lived this long if I was
Confident - So what if I'm a cocky prick?
Goal-oriented - My eye is on the trophy
Knows the right answers - Or I'll learn it right away
Can see the whole picture - Fuck the picture, I see three dimensional bitch
Quickly moves to action - Wait and you'll grow old
Thrives on opposition - Haters are my motivators
Little need for friends - I like having friends but I went a long time before I ever had a friend and I still have that cold place in my heart. I survived and I could do it again.
Leads and organizes - If I'm the leader, shits gonna get done
Excels in emergencies - Emergencies make my day, I don't let now petty shit ruin my flow
Delegates work - You carry your weight
Motivator - People say I give a hell of a speech
Long-term thinker - Life is a brief candle
Hot-tempered - I'm like Nevada in the summer, I sleep with no pillow or a cover. I'll burn out eventually but not for a long while.
Cruel - Everyone has their demons
Impetuous - Thinking occasionally is negotiable
Impatient - In actions, yes. In thinking, no.

Took the test and got Melancholic :/ Dont know that that is really good.

I wound up scoring as a melancholic. It doesn't surprise me very much.

According to the test, my temperament's Melancholy.

Fits mostly, except for the "pessimistic", "moody", and "self-centered" parts. I'm opposite of those.

Melancholic, which mostly fits, though I'm not self-centred at all, I despise myself.

Don't hate yourself! We all have flaws, but as long as you're not actually evil, you shouldn't hate yourself for anything.

Unemotional - No way! I'm very emotional.
Strong-willed - Hell yeah!
Independent - I wish I could be, but someone with autism wouldn't have much hopes of being so.
Optimistic - I try to be!
Not discouraged easily - Okay...
Confident - Very much so.
Goal-oriented - Sure.
Knows the right answers - At least I hope to.
Can see the whole picture - I try to be philosophical about things.

Phlegmatic temperament - some of my traits;

Calm and collected - always patient, and calmed, especially while driving
Quiet - most of the time, especially when two family members are drinking and arguing
Kind - what everyone says about me
Hides emotions - most of the times yes around friends and family, even in my maddest, I won't show any emotion when a family member is drunk (in the back of my mind "makes me look greedy if I show anger or disgust" - when they sober up, they won't remember anything)
Not in a hurry - 100% about me, i could stay for hours in one place without complaining
Takes the good with the bad - even in bad situations, I always focus on the good part of lives
Dry sense of humor - horrible at jokes, many times I don't get them. I take stuff to litterially
Avoids confrontation and conflict - in my mind: no reason to get involved in problems if not necessary
Cool under pressure - another one of my main traits. Even in the most stressful situations, I'm always alert
Takes the easiest way - I prefer the easy way of doing stuff
Good listener - I tend to listen more than speaking
Likes to watch people - in sports the most
Dependable - not much for speaking in public (I'm quiet)
Slow and Lazy - yes, thats me, I'm not much active. Prefer to drive than walk, even when store is only 10 minute walk
