Thread: New Years Resolutions

Do you all have any new years resolutions for 2013?? I actually have a list of them myself.

1. Drink more water
2. Try not to gain too much weight
3. Pass the coding exam I'm taking in the summer
4. Go on another girl's trip
5. Fly in a plane
6. Go to a new destination
7. Show my family how much they mean to me
8. Become more independent
9. Try to love myself more
10. Try new things
11. Save a life (think outside the box for this one)
12. Go to a Katy Perry Concert
13. Try to live life a little
14. Get Baptized in church.
15. Put more faith in God.


I'm sure I have more, but these are the main ones. :3


So, tell us some of your New Years resolutions.

1. Stop being so forgetful.
2. Make sure I don't drive my best friend away from me like I almost have.

Making a decent resolution for 2014.

Ready my Bible more.
Be a blessing to more people.
Drink more water
Talk to my family more

Just a few for now -

• Drink more water and less diet coke
• Improve my drawing skills (I'm doing good, but I still need lots of improvement)
• Be more active. I'm very lazy.
• Be more (can't remember the fancy word for speaking more in public, more talkative, I'm too quiet)
• Be more healthy, I eat too much junk food (fast food, sushi, really bad for my diabetic body)
• Start writing my own PokeFanfic (I have it all planned out, I just haven't started writing it yet)
• Post more in the Bulbagarden Forums!

Yeah, post more on BMGf is my main one. :P

But I also want to focus more on school, be less socially awkward, and be more independent.

Just a few goals, which are mostly related to graduating after this year.

1. Eat less. I've actually started to eat less since Christmas, so there's the incentive to just continue this.
2. Improve my language skills, particularly on academic level.
3. Earn the license in translating in English.
4. Fulfill the qualifications for graduating. I want to graduate after the fourth year.
5. Take immunology, genetics, and a course in arts category.
6. Improve socializing skills, including more common sense.

Just a few for me:

- Go outside more
- Spend more time with friends and family
- Complete all unfinished videogames
- Watch all unwatched films and series'
- Practice your drawing, writing, guitar and Italian every day
- Try and avoid eating after 7pm
- Complete reading the Bible
- Attend church every Sunday
- Don't upset anyone

- Try harder in school
- Don't apologize so much
- Try to be more cheerful
- Go outside more
- Take more walks
- Eat when I'm actually hungry
- Don't worry about mistakes so much
- Do more constructive activities
- Spend less time on the computer ;_;

Yeah. I am too hard on myself, huh?

Just one. (Besides resolving not to have any resolutions. That's a continuous one for me, year in and year out.)

I need to remember to STOP WORRYING. About the small things that won't matter in the end, about the big things I have no control over, and everything in between that don't do me any good by obsessing.

Find motivation to actually have a life instead of doing nothing all day

So far I've broken that resolution.

There are alot I could make. I probably will not end up keeping most of these:
1. Eat healthier food and less junk
2. Exercise more and try to take care of my health more
3. Meet my boyfriend and spend some time with him.
4. Stop being so scared all the time about everything
5. Try to make my paranoia go away, it really gets bad sometimes
6. Be less uptight and try to have more fun
7. Post more on Bulba and try to make my posts better and be a better user in general.
8. Make more friends here, talk to more people and be more outgoing
9. Try to get over being depressed
10. Get a job
11. Forgive people for things they've done to me

Yeah a lot I know but these are all things I feel I need to do in the new year

Mine are:

- Be less awkward and wimpy
- Be a good person
- Work out more
- Be more motivated with creativity and opportunities
- Jump off a diving board (I have Zexal to thank for that one)
- Help ReshiramDragonofTruth get Malefics, #92, and whatever other cards she needs
- Learn how to properly play Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

I seriously gotta remember these....

I actually have a few more to add to that list.

16. Meet someone irl that is from Bulba. (Anyone in general I guess can work. XD)
17. Find Mr. Right *shot* I'm a hopeless romantic. Forgive me. :P
18. Get my drivers License
19. Find an Apartment
20. Be a better person.

Ahh it's alright, I'd like to find my Ms. Right, or you know, at least someone who will stay interested in me for a little while, and be a decent person too.

Lets see.

-Work out more.
-Start to drink less.
-Look less bitter.
-Be a better person to everyone in general.
-Hate work less, somehow.
-At least fulfill two of these resolutions.

Beats my list last year of *hangout with this person* which I did like 4 days into the year.
