There were debris flying all over the place. My cat was panicking too. My husband was on his way home from a job interview and I was very nervous because he has a metal rod in his back (scoliosis). He did make it home safely luckily. Our internet had been down Thursday evening, all day yesterday, and this morning. Our water had cut-off on Thursday. We managed to get it back up before it got too late (we had a friend come over and help us - a wire was stuck on a tree). Anyway, that was our hectic couple of days. I really wish my area had gotten more rain though, we pretty much only had high winds and thunder (hardly any lightning).

I think that there's been drought almost everywhere in the mainland U.S. and those rains don't really sound very drought-relieving, what we all really need is some, nice rainy days with a medium-strength rain that doesn't cause a ton of flash floods. I personally live in Michigan, and it's the driest I've ever seen it. There was a brush fire in the city of Grand Rapids today, that hasn't ever happened in all my life...so yeah, it's hot, dry and it sucks. I'll never say I hate thunderstorms again...:/

It stormed like a mofo last night and this morning has been pretty bleak and subdued. Just the way I like it. >:D
