Tired and worried.

I'm pretty weirded out about what happened to my friend last night.

My friend Bora and his family were going to the mosque that they attend (it's a different one from my family - they are Sunni, while my family is Shia). The congregation is mostly Turkish. A teenage boy on the street asked my friend's stepfather if he was Turkish. He said yes. The kid said "No, you don't look like a real Turkish guy." My friend has medium blond hair. His mum and his stepsiblings do too. But his stepfather has very light blond hair - pretty unusual for where he's from. Naturally, the man was pretty disturbed by the comment.

I was walking with them, so I saw it all. I asked Tarik (my friend's stepfather) if he was okay. told me that he knew the kid - the kid's uncle is Tarik's manager - and that the kid sometimes hangs around at his workplace. He is also aware of Tarik's heritage. But he has behavioural problems. Although it was funny when my friend's stepsister told the kid to get lost in Turkish.

Are there people you know IRL who make insane comments just to annoy you?

I feel quite calm today~!

SOOO much better than I did yesterday^^ I'm glad to be back on here now^^
