Thread: How many digits of pi do you know?

A very nerdy topic indeed, but it must be done. o_O

I've memorized exactly 100 digits after the decimal point, grouped as follows:

3.14159265 3589 793238 46264 33 8 32795 0288 41971 69399 37510 58209 74944 59230 78164 0628 6 20899 86280348 25342117 0679

How many do you know? (After the decimal point, of course. The first "3" doesn't count.)

About 8. I never bothered to memorize the whole thing.

Keep in mind that my 100 is from all the way back in Grade 9. Since then, I've also had more important things to do.

I just use the pi buttion on my culclator when ever i need it.

I'm not dumb I just was never required to know this crap.

3.14159 is all you need for any kind of engineering accuracy.

I know "3.14" because that's the most you need to do to get the desired result from a calculator.

Plus, I despise math. I'm quite efficient at it but I can't stand it. I feel like I'm a robot whenever I'm expected to use it. So much time spent solving meaningless, preset problems that could be spent solving real problems or working on my novel/poetry. I understand why it is important, and I respect those who enjoy it, but it's simply NOT my thing.

You're not supposed to include the first 3. That would mean you have 7 digits.
