France, from the UK, which isn't that far when you think about it :I
Scotland :p I don't get out much
I've been to Brazil twice to visit relatives. It's such a long flight. (I'm not Brazilian - a separate branch of my maternal grandmother's family immigrated to Brazil.) But it's very nice - the weather is great! And the people are really friendly.
My birth country is Lebanon, and I've also been to Syria (when I was little), Turkey, Egypt, and the UAE. I'm going to New Zealand for 5 days in October.
I have an aunt that lives in NZ and my girlfriend comes from Australia :D
I furthest I've been from my home-land (west-central Florida, I kinda shuffle between municipalities in that area) was when my family lived in New Mexico from 1999 to 2001. The furthest I've been from my birth-place (Dearborn, Michigan) was Peurto Rico.
Hawaii (I'm from Boston)
In terms of other countries, the furthest I've been from Boston is the Czech Republic (Prague is an amazing city)
Mérida Yucatan.
From New York to Greece. Vacation one summer, permanent residency the next 6 years. Still consider NY home even though I live here.
Either England or California; they're about equal distance from my home in New York.
Valencia.
Hawaii. I used to live there when I was younger (military family). I've also lived in Germany, but I was only a baby then, so I don't remember being there. If I can only mention vacations...then I'd say Colorado.
China. I've only been to two countries out of the US...China and Canada.
I was born in Seoul, and the furthest from home was New York.
I've just sorted my trip next year, (backpacking around Europe) so I can then say that the furthest I've been is Albania :)
