Thread: X&Y Preordering and Launch Promotions

what do you ladies and gents think of the possibility of stuff like a pre order bonus or launch even pokemon t( like genesect for versions 2) or something like limited edition console bundle or even some thing else at launch for a promotion of these games?

I am sure there will be preorder stuff. I work at GameStop so if they announce one ill be sure to let ya'll know! :)

I think its possible to get an event Pokemon with release over wi-fi. They released a Pokemon on both BW and BW2's release date(Liberty pass to get Victini for BW and Genesect for BW2) it might help sell more games. I wouldnt also rule out pre-order bonuses like figures.

I think a system bundle is pretty much a lock in. They're releasing a fire emblem bundle and that's a game series with more of a cult following.

It isn't an XL, it looks so great though.

I hope the Pokémon bundle is an XL, if they do make one. I also hope the Animal Crossing 3DS XL actually comes this way, I love the way it looks. :)

I really hope they release it in a Pokémon X/Y plus limited ed. 3DS or something. It's a treat for those who are buying a 3DS solely for the Gen VI games, and bait for those who are considering buying another.

Anyway, there will definitely be promotions and giveaways and launch events. After all, they're important parts of Selling A Product and Advertising.

I honestly don't give a thing about pre-order bonuses cause they never happen here anyway.

If Japan get pre-order figures of Xerneas and Yveltal though, I'll definitely import them, just as I did with the entire Creation quartet.

Probably some Wi-Fi distribution event for BW2 that unlocks something in X/Y, that's the most predictable thing they could do anymore, considering the franchises growing fascination with Wi-Fi distribution events over anything else.

B2W2 didn't have any pre-order bonus, at least not in the US IIRC. >n> I hope XY do, because I pre-ordered my XY yesterday.

I hope they have some sort of launch package with a 3ds XL. I'm waiting to buy my 3ds until I see what they have in store.

Like the Lock Capsule in HG/SS that unlocked TM95 (Snarl) in B/W? That would be neat.

I hope they do have a special 3DS package for the XY launch. I'd love to have a 3DS with Yveltal on it!
