Thread: Would you like to see another animated trailer like B2W2 had?

Another anime trailer would be amazing. I can't believe there's people complaining about it. It was epic. I remember that there was a petition to make a short anime series based on B2/W2, just because of the trailer. I'd approve of a new anime trailer.

No, don't turn my words, of course everybody has his/her opinion, I just said that IN MY OPINION it is stupid to criticize small details like that, I did not want to be offensive or say that YOU are stupid.

C'mon guys, everyone's opinion is their own. Personally, I wouldn't mind another trailer but I see where some are coming from in that if we get another one it should be accurate in its portrayal.

During the boat scene. The background scenery was unrecognizable, and didn't look like any of the cities in-game.

...you're really observant. I never even knew that there were buildings like that in the background. Well, yeah. Those buildings were definitely nowhere near the PWT, but the games weren't released until months later - which means that vid was just a prototype.

Same thing - we might not get everything revealed in the actual trailer shown a few days ago.

Much closer to release would be likely. Just so they don't really spoil what will happen. I could see a release on eShop for the trailer.

Oh right - since it's for the 3DS, we could have a 3D animated trailer like the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Infinite Labyrinth XDD!!

Months later? The trailer came out in May, and B2/W2 were released in Japan in June; just a little over a month. So no, it wasn't "just a prototype."

id be willing to be fine with it if they keep the original anime styling and character traits. not a over cliched Naruto style ad like for BW2. BW2 was way too over serious where as running it into the anime style would be more refeshing to watch instead of the over cliched action and having little seaoning of humor would help it a long way

This. A more lighthearted approach would do wonders to make the trailer more palatable than the B2W2 one. The tone in that one was just... off.

I'd love if they did another one for X & Y. The animation in the BW2 one was amazing, and showed off the characters and Pokemon nicely. I can't imagine how cool one would be where we weren't as familiar with the characters, Pokemon and gym leaders, etc, it'd be a great introduction of sorts to them.

Instead of an animated trailer, I would rather have another Pokemon Direct. If they do or not idc because I'm going into this gen not knowing anything except the names of the starters.

Keep things civil and keep pointless snarky retaliations to a minimum. It doesn't help the thread nor its discussion. Also, if you believe someone is, potentially, out for trouble, report them to the staff instead of replying--because if it comes down to it, and you've got yourself carried away in the situation aswell, you'll just find yourself in trouble too.

I for one would love to see them take the initiative used for the BW2 trailer and apply it to the show - you can have your pokemon show be a bit more mature. Poor Ash doesn't have to stay 10 and dumb forever dammit! UP THE GAME! \o/

And yes, I want a trailer like that for X/Y :D
