Thread: What will you get: Pokemon X & Pokemon Y

At the moment, I'm leaning towards Pokémon X, because of the deer thing.

Based on appearances, though both look epic, I think I will pick the black and red bird/dragon/y thing. I am assuming that it will be Y, which means these will be the first games I break tradition with (I always chose the games that came first in how they are spoken=Red, Gold, Ruby, Diamond, Black, Black2).

I choose X, because it's a much more awesome letter IMO and it's color Blue, although I have to wait if the Blue Antelope is the mascot of Pokemon X; if it is, then 100% I'll be getting Pokemon X. But yeah, I will set aside the version-exclusives for this.

Right now my choice is Y. They made it fairly obvious which legendary was the mascot for which version. That dark and sinister flying pokemon is calling out to me saying, "You know I'll be badass!"

Both, but if I had to choose one I will definitely pick X. The legendary pokemon in X looks much cooler, imo.

I'll be getting both versions, for me and my sister. She'll be playing X, and I'll take Y.

^Did anyone notice that the games aren't called Versions any more?

If I could get both, I would... but I'll stick with whichever one you can catch that Legend-Deer with DEM ANTLERS. I'm not sure why, but it's more appealing than the bird-dragon-demon-wut in my eyes [though it does look quite awesome].

Yeah... Isn't that weird? Pokemon X, not Pokemon X Version...

Whilst I'll probably change my mind as version exclusives are released, right now I'm leaning towards X because of the Forest stag.

As I always get the primary version, I'm gonna get X this time. :P I slightly prefer the Y legendary but the X is still very appealing to me. Hopefully the version exclusives are good. :)

Although a certain webcomic might have to change its name...

I lean towards Pokémon X. The deer looks like the better of the two.

The thing is, this time around we won't really know version exclusive before buying the game, unless you wait like a week or two after release. Because it's a simultaneous release, sites won't have all the information on the games when people in the US and Europe are playing through for the first time. Unless you want to wait, a lot of you are gonna have to be impulsive and not base your choice off of version exclusives. We'll likely only know a handful when the games are released.

I usually always get both the day they come out and play through the one that I like the respective legendary better first x3 So I'll probably play through whichever one has the deer thing, and depending on version exclusive pokemon if there is one I want on my team.

I will definitely be gettin both, can't wait to try out Fennekin. So pumped for these games!!!!
