I kind of hope they would own up to their mistakes — make Nidoqueen able to breed, remove Archeops from Water3 -egg group, make Poison stronger, etc. Many would say "make Gardevoir female!" but I personally love the Drag-Gardevoir, so I would just rather create a female only Kirlia evolution ("Gardelicious!")

I don't care about continuity; okay, so we now need an incense to breed Munchlax? I'd be totally happy with the incenses being removed and all Pokémon eggs churning out Baby Pokémon whenever possible.

    Edited to add the quote:

I agree with this. (I also think that since Dragon resists Grass, Fire and Water, it would be a good fit to have some Purrloin/Poochyena/Sentret -type Dragons right in the beginning. The first Gym Leader could use some weaker Dragons, to make it fair for each starter type.)

I also wish they'd introduce more of these:
    - pure Rock types (we only have 9)
    - pure Dark types (we only have 9)
    - pure Steel types (we only have 5)
    - Ghost and Ice types per se
    - pure Flying types (...well...)

I think I already posted here, but right now I have some things I wish for generation 6:

    • They should keep the sprite-based characters in the overworld. 3D modeled characters sucks.
    • Creating less freaking Water Pokémon and more of other types would be a good idea.
    • More unique type combinations, like Ghost/Steel, Ghost/Rock, Dragon/Rock, Dragon/Poison etc.
    • Less legendaries. 3 or 5 are more than enough.
    • Character customization would be gorgeous as well.

Why less legendaries? I want twelve that are based on the animals of the Chinese zodiac.
    • Rat, Electric-type (tiny legendary)
    • Ox, Rock/Ground-type
    • Tiger, Fighting-type
    • Rabbit, Normal/Electric-type (tiny legendary)
    • Dragon, Dragon/Flying-type
    • Snake, Normal/Grass-type
    • Horse, Fire-type
    • Goat, Psychic-type
    • Monkey, Water/Steel-type (tiny legendary)
    • Rooster, Normal/Flying-type
    • Dog, Electric/Fire-type (tiny legendary, based on a baby puppy)
    • Boar, Water/Dark-type

I don't know how much of this has already been posted so I'll just list them. What I want in Generation 6:

    1. Not a Fire/Fighting starter.
    2. A Dark type Gym.
    3. More interesting ideas for Gyms, such as the Striaton City Gym that had three types instead of just one, or the Fuschia City Gym that confused the player with Psychic types when it was a Poison type Gym.
    4. A Dragon type Gym that is not also the eighth Gym.
    5. A storyline that does not involve a legendary pokemon directly. For example, Team Evil tries to take over the region without using a legendary pokemon but said legendary pokemon gets involved to stop them anyway.
    6. The walking with pokemon feature from Heartgold and Soulsilver.
    7. A rival you do not meet straight away. The first town is perfectly fine, I just never liked how they try to fit in the "Lifelong Friends" thing to add a sense of comradeship.
    8. A good Bug type you can use straight away. Something that looks good straight away and you can use as an actual member of your team. Like Leavanny but...you know...better.
    9. None of that weird first person stuff they had in Black and White. That was weird to say the least.
    10. A non legendary/pseudo legendary Dragon type.
    11. No more legendaries unless it's a new region.
    12. A different religious point of view.
    13. An underground city.
    14. A Hoenn remake.
"This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it's the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere great. Fall in love...a lot. Major in philosophy because there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind and then change it again because nothing is permanent. Make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask you what you want to do with your life, you won't have to guess. You'll know."

Because there are a lot of them already? Regarding legendaries, the less they create, the better. That said, I like the idea of Pokémon based on the animals of the zodiac (be them legendaries or not), but I'd rather see them based on the Western Zodiac (Libra, Virgo, Sagittarius, etc)

    1. Trainer customization, I see a couple people saying they want the option of a couple different trainers, and you're on the right track. But a full on character creator is the best choice. By today's standards for RPG's it should be guaranteed. Ontop of that I'd like the game to have clothes you can purchase through out the game, and there should be a barber that can change your hair style at any time. idk about you, but when i'm battling my friend online, i'm tired of fighting my clone.

    2. This one goes hand in hand with number one. I want the ability to transfer my trainer card to the next game/generation that comes out after I beat the elite four. If you played Mass Effect you know what I'm talking about, you transfer your save file to the new game and all your progress, is there when you start the sequel. There would need to be some limitations to this, namely that your pokemon from the last game are locked away till you beat the eight gyms. I for one am sick and tired of being talked down to as a beginner trainer every time a new game comes out. I've been catching Pokemon for 15 years. I'm also sick and tired of these stupid mini games Game Freak shoves down our throats in order to transfer our pokemon between generations. The Trainer Card transfer would make an easy quick transfer. And you can even leave your old file on the game prior so you can still play it. So yah, trainer card, send it to the cloud via your Nintendo ID, download at start of new game. Bingo done, game uses a new opening sequence for you.

    3. the Weather cycles. I really dislike that they change every month, I think it should be based off of our own weather cycles. Maybe have it set to your region much the same way as the clock is set to your time zone? And also in game holidays/events to correspond with the weathers would give all new life to the games and reasons to pick it up during off periods.

    4. Bring back the ability to let my pokemon follow me, but allow me to toggle whether I want them out or not, and don't restrict it to being the first pokemon in my party. I felt dirty when I was training a pidgey and it was always following me...

    5. Deeper Stories, Black and White hit this one on the head very well. Let's keep this going because Pokemon Diamond/Pearl's story was such a bore.

    6. 3D, or at the very least 3D battles. The models are already created, use the damn things. Before B/W came out I was getting so bored watching battles happen. But even B/W's amusing battles wore off after a while.

    7. Pokemon Schools should actually teach useful things. EV's and IV's? I don't know about you but I didn't first learn about EV's/IV's till Diamond. This may sound like a shock to the hardcore meta gamers, but it wouldn't hurt to educate new, and younger players about such a usefull training technique.

That's all, 1, and 2 are the ones I want most, 1 may happen, but i'll pray and pray some day 2 will.
    1. That will mean that many new sprites, possibly hundreds or thousands, would have to be made, as well as then, you might have to design your characters mum then, due to the fact that (no racism etc intended) a black trainer with a white mum is probably not possible without being mixed race.

    2. That would be good, but some people might be playing pokemon whilst they are about seven years old, and would get confused with the cloud system, or they could use another ds, if they have one. Probably from side games, such as Colloseum and Battle revolution would be good.

    3. It is probably monthly in a cycle due to the fact that people get bored with it being one season in the game for around three months, plus some people are still in dispute as to whether a season begins at the beginning of a month, or the 21st of a month.

    4. Logical.

    5. Yes, that would be really good. But the problem is, it may become a bit close to BW storyline and you may notice close similarities between the storylines, such as with Pokemon Ranger Shadopws of Almia and Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs at the cargo ship/submarine, where the character may die in water.

    6. That would require a lot to do, as they would have to incorporate each attack hitting a pokemon, each pokemon using an attack, (possibly)pokemon coming into contact and then all of the gen 5 and 6 pokemon would also have to have sprites made for them. Then they would have to make 3d sprites for the trainers, but if the customisation idea got used, they would have to make thousands of sprites for them too.

    7. Yeah, as it is confusing with them. The only useful thing they taught me that I understood was the water-fire fire-grass grass-water weaknesses.
You guys need to realize 3d models are easier to make these days then sprites, I work in maya and photoshop, have experience modeling and sprite making, and modeling is simple. They have the base models done. And the idea would be the parents would change based on your skin color. Character creation systems are standard these days in RPGs it's time Pokemon follow some trends.

Also as for number 2 you guys are thinking too two-dimensional it would work perfectly with Pokemon. You wouldn't have a mom in the games you transfer your progress to, maybe she'll appear from time to time as prof oak does, or call you, but you'll be on your own. The game would have an alternate opening for returning trainers. Think of it like in the anime how ash travels to the new region and leaves his Pokemon behind. It'd be just like that, you arrive in this town the professor or their assistant greets you and says they were expecting you when (insert name of prof in the first game you played) called.

And yes I would think you could also transfer with another ds for those without Internet (god forbid this day an age) or possibly put it on an SD card. But cloud would be far more convenient for those of us not 7 ;)

    - though a 7 year old shouldn't be on a trainers quest, they're far to young for that sort of thing, league rules is 10!

I pretty damn sure character customization in two d isn't much harder but if they don't have it here's some things they should do

    1. A PC that isn't a mime and maybe some custom robo esc dialogue options

    2. A PC that isn't white or Asian that looks white. I'm not black but it would be cool to play as a black guy and have a black guy that isn't muscle bond or brake dancer. I know they are not as sensitive as in the west I'm not trying to be judgmental just some variety would be nice.

    3. This is a controversial one but multiple PC's in one play through do the Bowser's Inside story where we can switch between are character at will but only for the post game have sections of the campaign be automatic cause no Mario and Luigi puzzle would work well for Pokemon. It would be pretty sweet to play as a rival character.

    4. More PC's with hair that isn't black or brown. I mean why should only chicks and NPC's get anime hair.

    1.) A Fire/Steel type starter, a Water/Poison starter and a Grass/Flying starter. Don't ask me why, I just think it'd be cool.
2.) A female rival who starts out nice but turns bad because of the baddie Team in the game.
3.) A Dark-type gym leader for the eighth badge.
4.) More balance for Poison types such as bringing back their effectiveness against Bug type and maybe introducing a new type or two that they are resistant against and super effective against.
5.) As the above said, some new types. I know we have a lot already but there are still some balancing issues that need to be answered. If not new types then they need to maybe reorder what is super effective against what because currently Poison has the least x4 effectiveness and Grass has tones of weaknesses and PKMN resistant to it.
5.) For the game to be set in a Europe inspired region.
6.) For the PC to have a little more customization.

Allow the PAL/European/Australian region to have the metric system and Celsius scale.

This has annoyed me since the beginning of time and it's ridiculous. Why should we metric/Celsius users have to use the imperial system/Fahrenheit scale? When they translate the games into French/German/etc why can't they include the metric system/Celsius scale back from the Japanese games, too?

Or maybe they can just have both systems/scales from the start and then one can choose as they like?

You inspired by the Ice Age movies there? That is what I'm reminded of.
Anyway, I also want a game where you get to a certain point and you have to make an important decision that effects the storyline, like a villain giving you a choice to join them or not. And I don't know if I said this many pages earlier, but I really want another Ranger side game.
