Thread: What do you want in Gen 6?

Predictions for Gen VI
Starters: all dual types throughout evolutions. Grass/Dragon-type reptile-based Pokémon (perfect choice), Fire/Fighting-type dog-based Pokémon (Not Flareon, please), Water/Flying-type flying-squirrel-based Pokémon (Emolga looks good, but I don't want to see many electric squirrels (including flying squirrels)).

Number of new Pokémon: over 100 plus new cross-gen evos and pre-evos.

Other: More Move Tutors, all new Trainers for Gen VI including RSE remakes. Revised Egg Grouping systems.

I'd like to see a platypus Pokémon. (no, Psyduck doesn't count) I also hope they add a giant contest hall where you can do contests, super contests and musicals, and right next to it a Pokéathlon Dome that's just like the old Pokéathlon except with new games and features and better stuff at the prize shop, and I hope they bring back the secret bases too, that'd be awesome.

edit: I also want a hummingbird Pokémon. And we need more Pokémon whose names start with the letters X, Q and Y.

I just want to see a Jaguar pokémon (Electric/Fighting type).

With that, I'm happy.

I want:

- Dual-typed starters.
- A female evil team boss.
- Starters based on myths, like Gen IV ones.
- A non-"slutty" female player character, like Mei.
- More dark-skinned characters like Phoebe, Iris and Marlon.
- 100~115 completely new Pokémon and 15~20 evolutions for old ones.

Also, a region based on Mexico or some Latin American country would be pretty nice, in my opinion.

Plus. I want them to keep the sprite-based characters in the overworld.
They do not need to fully transform the game in 3D just because the 3DS has enough power to handle it.

And here is what I do not want: Water and Electric Gyms.

• Top of the notch graphics with epic use of GF's 3D rendering engine, without the ugly pixilization that appeared in BW, especially in battles.
• A pure evil team with actual evil purposes.
• An engaging story-line, as opposed to the side-stories presented in earlier games.
• An actual challenge for once, as opposed to the ridiculously easy gameplay of previous generations.
• Some evolutions of previous Pokemon would be great!

That's it for me!

I definitely agree with this. Despite how the 3DS can hold more than the DS, I just think the amount of content that can be included would be very limited if they go all-out 3D with Colosseum style graphics.

This has most definitely been said before, but nomore HMs. Seriously. Also a few more characters worth of space for names, player or pokemon,would be awesome.

I would like to see Game Freak breaking the "every girl is afraid of bugs" rule and thus, making a female Gym Leader/Elite Four specialist in the aforementioned type.

I'd just like to give my opinion about this...

1. Yes.
2. Yes. NO MORE FIRE/FIGHTING.
3. Hell yes.
4. I wouldn't be against it, but Tropius itself is a pretty weak Pokémon...
5. Yes, but make it optional. Some people, like me, hated this feature with a passion. I found it extremely annoying.
6. It's the same for me if this returns or not.
7. Now that would be pretty cool! But who would inhabit it?
8. Yes. And make it Water/Psychic. In fact, I already designed its moveset (yes, I have a lot of free time. I just got a surgery and I'm on recovery, so...). Here it goes:

Name: Daulfin. A corruption of the word 'dolphin' and a portmanteau of the words 'daulphin' (dolphin in Old French) and 'fin', referring to the fins dolphins have.
Type: Water/Psychic
Egg Group: Water 1 and Water 2
No evolutionary relatives (as of now).
Abilities: Swift Swim / Keen Eye / Mind Boost (a new ability; the Psychic version of Overgrow, Blaze, Torrent and Swarm).

P.Com: As much as the games have been consistent in quality, they have also been fundamentally similar in plot and structure. Do you ever consider taking the core games in a different direction, and maybe changing up how the plot unfolds?

Mr. Masuda: We’ve obviously thought about those things before. For example, changing the number of Gyms that appear in the story, or maybe making the selection of starter Pokémon be five instead of three, or having different types such as Steel-type or Poison-type starter Pokémon.

I want to see them follow up on this and take a different direction with the starters. A Bug/Ghost/Poison trio would be wonderful, for example.

Hmm...I'm not sure if this has been already said, but the feature to email/chat with your friends through the game. But it would be with the people you have traded friend codes with, so no stranger will be talking to you, I guess.

All regions visitable with separate gyms ending with an epic battle. Add the Vs. seeker to that as well. And no more fucking HMs. Those alone would satisfy me.

But if I want more, a cyberpunk city and a Dark-type gym'll do.

1. A Dark-type gym leader
2. Like Black 2 and White 2 has gyms with individual themes, Gym Leader should have individual battle themes.
3. Character Customization. If Dragon Quest 9 can do it on the DS, Gen 6 can do it on the 3DS. I mentioned this so people would stop complaining about what the characters wear.
4. I want a dating sim in my Pokemon game, but this is just me.
5. I want my pumpkin Pokemon!
6. More Culture. Ecruteak City had a traditional Japanese theme. How about some Mexican, French, German, Greek, and Middle Eastern cultures?
7. I hate the fact that lot of Pokemon had to be caught through the Dream World in Gen V. I have a wireless connection at home, but it is not compatible for my DS. I like the fact that Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum had the PokeRader feature to catch Pokemon from the first three generations. I like the feel of finding Pokemon in the wild grass, not something I have to go online for.

-I personally hate how they "dumbed down" the poison status, but I know they are not going to change that.
-Also, STOP WISHING FOR A POKEMON GAME WHERE WE VISIT ALL THE REGIONS. The game cartridge has a limited space, so there is no way we could visit all the regions. Unless you want your Pokemon game on the 3DS have GameBoy Advance graphics, or perhaps even GameBoy Color graphics.
