Well, that may be so, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we find a few little Pokémon gems among all the junk.

Seriously, what I dislike most (and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it) is the speculation of what the starter evos are going to look like, and more specifically (trying to be as tactful as I can), the "Rule 34" speculation that instantly sprung up on DA, FA, ...

1. How do you speculate Rule 34?
2. Yeah, and piles of sludge evolving into bigger piles of sludge, rebellious teenagers*, and regular old birds are SO original. Let's also not forget the genius that said "Ooh, let's make a mime and pass it off as a Pokemon! Better call it by it's formal name, too!

1. I don't. It's other individuals so minded. Not all of them are furries, in fact most aren't. And by speculation, I meant what some of the evos would be, as well as speculating on what horrors we'd be subjected to (as in, the nature of some of these pictures).
2. My point exactly. I was mocking the "GF is running out of ideas" brigade. And I am surprised and disappointed no one picked up on my quote!

Old school fans of my generation complaining about the new Pokemon being terrible. I loved and still use Garbodor, and Vanilluxe is better than it looks - minus a lacking movepool. Plus, new generations bring out a lot of great new Pokemon and features and...ugh, another Fire/Fighting starter.

I also hate the 'mysteriousness' GF pulls with new games. Curse you and tell us that Eevee's typing already. The discussions and speculations are killing me! Confound it all, I love it though...

Oh yes, THIS. I can't stand the fake scans that you're never really sure if they're fake or not. Because yes, some of them are ridiculously cool and would make great Pokemon...then we discover that it's actually fake. Nothing like having your soul crushed in one fell swoop, you know?

Yes, my main complaint about approaching new gens is the dreaded wait. It always feels like forever.

Ikr. Can you believe there's actually a thread with people arguing for reasons why X and Y should've come out on the DS. Jesus wept.

@LadySasaki If the TARDIS shows up in front of you and The Doctor offers to take you into the future, please beg him to take me along with you. I sure could use the fast path to Pokemon X and Y. The slow path is torture.

How whenever anyone says 'hey, this new thing could be cool', a bunch of people dump all over it because Pokemon doesn't 'need' (whatever was suggested), usually siting the metagame or the word 'balanced' as a reason.

one of the things i hate about new gens are the wait for the game to come out slow news periods and all that jazz

I'm not going to lie, if the doctor pulled up on my lawn I'd prob just travel with him for the rest of my days. Getting the new poke on game would be kind of an extra and when I have time between running from daleks and angels and... On second thought I think ill just chill in the tardis playing Pokemon, screw cardio.

As for things I dread. Lack of news. Reading up on games to come is what I do. And Pokemon especially fills me with joy. Other thing that I'm now hating is the massive amount of whiners who don't want to buy a 3ds. Gaming isn't a charity hobby, so people should stop acting like it is.
