Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

Go to Youtube and watch the stream for the 27th of this month and skip 56:38 and pause because it's shown quickly he's right in the middle of all the presenters of the show.

The Eevee guy could perhaps be a hint and it seems he's appeared a fair few times,I somehow doubt this is some random thing, but on Smash you never really know, but given this and all the other Eeveelution hype and the possiblity of him reappearing around the time of CoroCoro which will at the very least contain a new Pokemon to star in the 16th movie, it may not be a stretch to speculate that Eeveelutions may be revealed, of course we could be wrong, but I consider it a possibility.

Another thing about Eevee that may have some relevance as it's Pokedex entries state that it has an irregular genetic makeup that causes it to be able to evolve into several different Pokemon, given that at least part of the game's plot may center around Chromosomes/genetics, so it's possible that Eevee and it's evos may get some more focus in the plot, perhaps new Eeveelutions as well.

Colress (who I've seen people speculate could return for X/Y) infuses an Eevee with DNA from the Legendary Dragons, causing it to morph into a powerful Dragon-type evolution. This Eevee evolution actually stars in Movie 16, not the mini-movie, and escapes from the Team Plasma headquarters. Team Plasma then sends out the Genesect squad to retrieve it so they can use it for their own ends.

I second that as well. I don't think I've ever been this desperate before honestly. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll have some kind of X and Y News :)

So, what if they make another "secondary" Starter Triangle for Gen VI like the monkeys in Gen V?

I think three Pokemon based on goats would be pretty cool, like the Three Billy-goats Gruff story. And then when they evolve, the Grass one would be based off Pan (with pan-pipe horns), the Fire one would be based off "Satan" (devil-like with cloven hoofs), and the Water one Capricorn (fish-goat).

Might not making happen, but this idea is nice. Yep, I would like to see a pre-evo which evolves into one of them (Tyrogue-treatment) if they really happens.

Here's something to possibly lookout for in a couple weeks or so on Pokémon Smash. They've been showing this segment on the Eeveelutions were the guy comes out from behind a door in an Eeveelution Costume so far these are the costumes he's come out in and the dates...

January 13th
Eevee and Jolteon

January 20th
Flareon and Glaceon

January 27th
Umbreon and Leafeon

So possibly on February 3rd Vaporeon and Espeon and then the following week on February 10th 2 New Eeveelution Reveals since they seem to show 2 Eeveelutions per episode. Also you guys can go on Youtube and look up the the live stream that was shown on the 26th and in the preview to the next episode it shows that Junichi Masuda will be on the February 3rd episode so you never know maybe he'll show the New Eeveelution Silhouettes and then fully reveal them on the 10th.

I don't know but what do you guys think about this?

It appears that the Eevee cosplayer will be back on February 17th, which will be two days after CoroCoro's official release. I don't know what the page says about the episode, but this seems awfully telling.

well, remeber, zoroark's silhouette was first revealed on pokemon smash in early/mid feburary, right before corocoro leaks... :D
