Well, we'll see about that one in a few days, since he gave a specific date for "Buggler" and "Chryscross". If nothing by the 15th, credibility lost.

Some of those names though...I know GF has been uncreative before, but Houndoomed? Oregan? Buggler? I can't even pronounce 90% of those names. I did get a good lol at "Skieet" though.

In reference to the earlier rumor list, and I am appalled none of you caught it, shame on you:

*Sylveon (Normal). Bond Evolution.

Let's say for a second that I believed that Sylveon WAS a normal type and not a special type. There is still the matter of evolution. Espeon and Umbreon have something to say about that. Unless they change the way they evolved, or the way time worked in the games, that is absolute bullshit. I called Mr. XY's credibility into question, but some was still viable. And then the new list came out. I believe cityvillain summed it up best.

But it's not worth discussing anymore.

Houndoomed isn't what broke it for me *Anyone remember Azurill and Lickillicky?*. What broke it was the fact that there an awful lot of Unique Type-Combinations for just a rumor, and that a lot of the typings are heavily sought after by fans. Now, I know Game Freak pays attention to these boards to know how to cater to fans. I could believe a Grass/Dragon type, and a Fire/Ice type, a Water/Fire type, and even a Poison/Steel type, and I really do WANT these types but to get all three of these types and then some in the same generation? Absolutely not.

I can't wait until the 15th rolls by. I'm taking bids guys, place your bets!

My rule of thumb is, "If it's from 4chan, it's probably not true." Don't you think that it's a bit strange that someone just *happens* to have the entire listing of pokemon that're supposed to be in X/Y? Someone obviously put a lot of time into creating the list, at least with the names. The combinations look like they were done with a type randomizer, or the "Anything Goes" Pokedex. So I'm just going to wait until we get a more legit source.

Two things:

Mr. XY did say that Espeon and Umbreon's evolution methods would be changed to item-based. He also said that this generation was supposedly focused on filling in unused type combinations, which would explain the large amount on the list.

Not saying it's real, of course, just that those two things aren't its biggest problems.
