Do you think they'd also have RageCandyBars somewhere in the remake?
The RageCandybar could be sold at the Lilycove Dept. Store or it could be sold at the Slateport market. It's kinda hard to find a suitable location for a candybar.

RageCandyBars... maybe they'd be in the Lilycove shopping center? If not, I can see them being for sale at the Pokemon League.

Edit: Glaciate beat me to it, ha ha! XD Great minds think alike?

I actually think it's possible that PRHS will get a 3DS exclusive release, though I wouldn't bet the farm on it. If they do Grey next year (though my personal bet is still PRHS in 2012, since it's 10 years since Ruby/Sapphire), then they could use the remakes to acclimate to the 3DS before Generation 6, using a sort of cross between BW's engine and a new one being worked on for Generation 6 (sort of like how HeartGold/SoulSilver's engine is about halfway between Platinum and Black/White).
You shouldn't be banking on an anniversary release, just because Johto's was (I think it was), and in fact Kanto's remake wasn't. It is too early because there is a 6 year time gap between the first remakes, and since your going off of patterns then it would make sense that a similar one will exist between this one and HG/SS.

I think that if Hoenn appears in this generation then it will be at/near the end of it. An exclusive release on the 3DS is possible if it happens at the end of gen 5.

Because the DS can still make them money. This is also based on the idea that they said the DS won't be abandoned anytime soon. Most importantly, it allows players to experience Unova (those that want the 3rd version) without having the need to buy another console. Cutting off the 3rd version from those who just own a DS and not a 3DS isn't wise imo, that shouldn't happen in the middle of a generation but at the end of one.

I agree with the last bit which is why it might be used to close off Pokemon on the DS.

Not really sure where your getting at. Imo, I imagine that Pokemon Grey might likely be the last Pokemon DS game and it might be released next year. By that time the 3DS might have further established itself as a console. (They might even come out with an alternate version like they did with the DS Lite)

After that, 2013/14 we might be seeing gen 6. After that is released on the 3DS then come the R/S remakes, or vice versa and R/S come first and then gen 6.

The DS is dead The DSphat/lite have been dead for YEARS ever since the DSi came out. and they stopped making Pokemon games for the DS rumble is on the 3DS, Rember Dash was the first game on the DS no Pokemon game was released exlusavly for the GBA and no Red Rescue team does not count since it's partner game was on the DS.

Even if FR/LG were released on the 10th annivesary it would have still been a4 year gap so that argument is way moot. They have moved Pokemon onto the 3DS unless the next PMD game was like R/B Rescue team there won't be another Pokemon game for the DS. and the 3DS will have been out a year by the time the remakes or Grey are out it makes absolutly no sense to keep it on a dead system. and ithe only reason B/W was released on the DS was because they came out 6 months before the realese of the system. and even then they were made for the DSi and should've been exlusive to it

If it was dead, they would stop making games for it. But they haven't, there are still games being made for the DS. I know that it can be played on 3DS, but if the DS was really dead, they would just make 3DS exclusive games or even games with DSi content. But there are still DS games being made. The Lite is still popular, it's certainly not dead in that respect. The Phat sure, shit all people use those anymore. The only person I know personally who uses one is too poor to afford a Lite. But most people moved onto the Lite. A lot of people haven't moved onto DSi or 3DS.
So yeah, what I'm saying is it's not dead.

Actually, only the original DS has been discontinued.

Back on topic: I hope that they make possible remakes compatible with the Dreamworld, would be nice.

This has probably already been said but where would a remake of RSE be in the timeline? Gen I and III are hand in hand. Gen II and IV are three years after them.
Gen V is confirmed to take place after all of them....... So what would they do? If they made it take place after the original they would need new player characters.
Also, they would eighther have to make a good reason for Norman not being the first gym leader or make him the first. Or they could swap a few towns which won't happen (most likley).

I doubt they'd make the remakes take place at the same time as Gen V

I'd sooner ditch Dream World for a different way of obtaining DW Abilities, whatever it may be.

Just like FireRed and LeafGreen took the spots of Red, Blue and Yellow, these remakes would take the spots of the original Hoenn games.

Here's another large question, based on timeline and events. How will/do they explain the constant release/escape of Legendary Pokemon?
Kyogre and Groudon were captured in the original Gen 3 or disappeared.
Should we just assume that if this is a Gen 3 CONTINUATION that the Legends were just let go nicely?
(If it's a remake instead of a continuation, then GF has their loop hole right there.)

An in-game way to obtain DW abilities would be nice. I don't have time and patience to visit the Dream World every day.

A special Dream Island could be a possibility.

I don't want to see any more remakes, because it will really start screwing with the timeline, plus I don't want the Pokemon franchise to get caught in a trend of releasing a remake with every Generation.
