Lorelei has a Dewgong, Jynx, Slowbro, cloyster and Lapras. That would only give them one of the same pokémon.

Also, you should compare Claire's and Lance's HG/SS rematch teams. Three of the same pokémon, and that's from the same game.

Speaking of Dewgong, I think we all remember Lorelei best by that thing anyway. It was the first pokemon she sends out, and the one where you go "Oh shit the Elite 4 are way stronger than other trainers" and Dewgong pulverizes your team until you train them to more respectable levels.

Mmm true, but she used Lapras to scare Team Rocket goons in Icefall Cave. Also, this:
Her Lapras has been with her ever since she was a child. She caught it when she was very young in the Icefall Cave.

Speaking for myself*, the first pokémon that comes to mind with Lorelei is Cloyster. But that's probably because that was her most memorable pokémon in Pokémon Adventures, where she used it to freeze Green and Sabrina's arms together, IIRC.

*: And let's face it, who else am I going to speak for. It's not like I'm some kind of ambassador who represents the people who think Lorelei's most memorable pokémon is Cloyster.

Don't really get the point of the end note, but in any case, game canon disagrees with you and with Pokemon Adventures

Well, I don't want Game Freak to replace May, just redesign her a bit. Brendan too, obviously. Also more back story on the Regi Trio and the other legendaries. And, like they did in the previous remakes, add in the other evolutions of pokemon from Hoenn that were created in Sinnoh (ex. Frosslass). Plus you know what I think would be cool? If they did that music thing they did in HG/SS where you could listen to the retro Game Boy Color music, except it would be the GBA music for Ruby and Sapphire! That would be awesome :D

I liked Brendan's design (at least, compared to May), but I can imagine a slight change in design. Perhaps something more blue for Brendan, red for May. Or the other way around.
As long as they keep Brendan's hat, I'll be happy.

I never really liked their Emerald outfits, so I hope a remake wouldn't stay reverent to those.

I wonder what remake music would sound like. Since we've only ever heard 8-bit music remade, I can't imagine what music from a GBA game would sound like after being remade.

Or, you know, leave the whole thing out since the phrase 'Speaking for myself' was pretty self-explanatory, and your comments afterward didn't really add anything that people didn't already know.

On the topic of redesigns, I hope they don't replace anyone, but wouldn't mind a redesign on clothes.

I also hope they add the music gimmicks they had in BW for RSEmakes

E4 rematches would be nice. :D

Do you mean the music that plays during the different seasons, or the music that plays when you interact with specific characters?

This is extremely minor, but I'd like to see the overworld NPC sprites redesigned so that each Trainer class gets their own individual sprite (I think this was the case in BW). No more having to guess whether a girl is an Ace Trainer or a Parasol Lady!

Also, does anyone think that some of the Dolls in the Exchange Service Corner are seriously overpriced? I mean a couple of them are pretty big, but 256 BP...I dunno, maybe I just suck at the Battle Frontier.

Yes, it though that the dolls where insanely overpriced because the best battle items where only 64BP(I think that they will lower the best items to 48BP like in B/W) and the best move touter moves where also 48BP. Also because BP where harder to earn in Gen III it just made it worse. So I think that they would lower prices for dolls in the remake to something like 70BP for the Kanto fully evolved start dolls and all other dolls lower then that.

Also I think that the overworld sprites would get upgraded just like in HG/SS.
