Maybe they will remake Emerald? Instead of having Ruby/Sapphire remakes, since they already have BW2 coming out, they'll have just one remake this time around.

Making it rs means more money. And kids what do game companies love? That's right Ching Ching bling bling, moola, dinero, moneymoneymoneymoneymoney.

We've had remakes in every generation so far, and i would personally prefer a r/s/e remake this generation.
What do you guys think? Would you like them this generation? Gen 6? 7? not at all?

They should do that. They have already made remakes of Silver and Gold so why not remakes of R/S/E. I guess we'll just have wait and see.
Personally, I feel R/S/E remakes would be best for Gen 6, not Gen 5. "Remakes for every generation" doesn't sound so good if you think ahead, that would mean our current Gen would need remade in Gen 7! Plus, what about Gen 1? Should they remake Gen 1 since it was part of Gen 3 too? It gets really confusing, which is why the "tradition" of doing remakes needs to change a little.
Gen 5 is a great generation on its own and doesn't need remakes to me. However, I'd love to see R/S/E remakes on the 3DS since the DS is supposed to be nearing its end. (Isn't the current rumor that B2/W2 will be the last Pokemon games for the DS?) Since the original GBA versions are still compatible on the current console, the DS, there really is no need for remakes...yet. Once Pokemon jumps to the 3DS, then the GBA versions won't be of any direct use. THEN they'll have every reason to remake R/S/E.

Yeah, I'm thinking Gen 6 as well. In terms of transferring Pokemon, now it's pretty much fine, but to get a Pokemon from a gen 3 game to a gen 6 one, you'd have to use four different games and probably three different console types... Unless they let you transfer directly from gen 4 to gen 6, which would be nice. But even then they'd have to be remade sometime to fix things like the Berry Glitch and the physical/special split.
I don't see why it can't be done in generation 5. I think it probably will be released this generation anyway.
I say Gen VI because I think the Hoenn region would be greater on the 3DS than any of the other regions so far because it is so exotic.
I think they should be skipped this generation and be on the 3DS after Gen 6. There dosent have to be a remake every generation.

I say we've had enough bloody remakes. If they're going to do another Hoenn game, it should have an entirely new plot. And they should make a better effort to tie it into the other games.

Also i've been thinking and a weird idea popped in my head. If they made TWO black and white sequels, what if instead of making two remakes, they could remake Emerald nd tht way we would have 5 gen 5 games
