Thanks to some law (I think in Europe, or maybe Australia), GF had to stop using Slots. I doubt we'll ever see the slots again

They didn't stop using them; if I remember right, the Game corner in HGSS in Japanese games still had the slots. It looks like the rest of us had to go with Voltorb Flip instead. I'm not saying that was bad, as it is fun, but still miss the slots.

But, if you notice, they didn't even include a game corner in BW. But yes, HGSS in Japan did have it

Nope, it's either our law, or both of us have that law. I remember reading a preview in the Official Nintendo Magazine saying that Voltorb Flip was going to be exclusive to Australian and New Zealend games. But, oh well.

I don't see what's so bad with gambling/slots....
It was a fun way to get a Porygon.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that when RSEmakes come out, the game corner will be removed and replaced with one of those pseudo-game corners that I only recall seeing in FRLG and Emerald.

I gambled alot in Plat and I dont feel the need to go and gamble in RL. I cant win a Flamethrower in RL so theres not much point ^-^

I did see an Eevee for sale once at the casino in Atlantic City once. I wanted it, but when I put on my fake mustache and tried to enter, the bouncer saw through the disguise... I thought I could pass as a 21 year old, since I'm 18...

back to remakes in general: I can't decide that if they DO add new locations to visit like FRLG did, I would want to surf there or ride a ferry to it

I would want a air craft ride. Thats the only main form of transport we having been riding in pokemon yet.

Personally, I'd like them to keep Voltorb Flip. I'm really bad at the slots and the roulette, but I'm pretty good at flip. However, I'd really appreciate it if they would let us buy the stupid coins. =/
I would also like, and this is my number one want, Pokemon to follow you like the do in HG/SS. That was so cool and then they went and took it out in BW. It was like a step back instead of forward.
I sort of want a new rival, too. Well, actually, I'd be happy if May/Male Rival (I forget his name >_<) were more serious. They just aren't a challenge at all. I'd like Wally to play a more active role as well.
I wouldn't mind a few new areas to explore. It would give a better reason to get the game other than just being remakes.

Voltorb Flip or just give another method for obtaining the items/TMs then buying coins. Though they shouldn't have taken that away too in HGSS.

Definitely the following, though perhaps an option to turn it on/off.

They need to give Brendan/May more attention, given them team overhauls with a full team of fully evolved Pokemon, give them a part in the Team Magma/Aqua plot, more battles and more appearances. I love the characters, but they just don't get to DO enough, or show their skills. Silver in HGSS while I already quite liked him as a rival, he got even more to do in the remakes, which was great. Same for Wally, minus the TA/TM stuff. I'd much rather get to see how the guy gets more confident throughout exploring Hoenn, and eventually hits the player with a full team of six Hoenn-introduced Pokemon (remove the Magneton, replace and add another Poke) in Victory Road. What they could do is like how they show in pretty much every game how to catch Pokemon, why not show Wally actually battling one of the Gym Leaders? Like Winona for instance? Then the player can do it themselves. Like Bianca, she grew over her journey, and you saw her and Cheren all the time. GameFreak did a good job with them, so they can do an even better job than that with the Hoenn rivals.

Funny thing, nobody seemed to give a shit about the slots until it was taken away.

I know right? I never bother playing the slots because you can still buy coins with your money, and with enough, you can buy the items you want without evening using the slots.
