Spring is mostly March to May, and if we go by the last years with a May/April reveal and a September release, we got either a December reveal with an April release or a January reveal and a release in may. And either way, spin off or main game, they never cross streams and promote more then 1 game. We could of course get news in 2 weeks with CoroCoro, but its still up in the air. And even if it were a spin-off it would be out by may just in time to reveal whatever main game we could get.

Well if it does end up being a spin off game then it better be the 3D console battling game.

I don't think that they are RSEmakes I agree with this ^

I'd like a sidequest or two. I found myself getting bored with the battle frontier pretty quickly, even if it was really big ^^; But nevertheless, a sidequest would be nice. Or an actual postgame, like a second story.

I hope it's on both the 3DS and DS as 3D would be a great feature and it would be compatible with people who have the old DS lite.

I can't see it being released on two different consoles - I think it would be seen as a waste of money. I'm pretty sure it's going to be for the normal DS, with the Gen VI games possibly being on the 3DS - it doesn't make sense to completely change which console the games are on mid-Gen.

Nintendo wants to sell the 3DS, and Pokémon has always been a great way for selling handhelds, so that's why I think Nintendo will move new Pokémon games to the 3DS.

they did switch console in Gen II.... Crystal is GBC exlusive...and there is no reason to keep on with releasing games fir the DS... Actualy I'm 90% sure it will be on the 3DS...We already have a side game on the 3DS and when Dash was released no other GBA game was rekeased (and RRT doesn't count BRT was on the DS) So it seems that they moved to the 3DS.... Weather ot not the spring game will be a MG or a SG we still have a chance for R/S Remakes being revealed in March

Side-games being released on the 3DS, though, makes it seem like they're just filling in until a new generation. I don't see how releasing the remakes for the 3DS would be practical - the 3DS hasn't even been out for that long, so I doubt that they've managed to design, plan and create the entire game in that space of time. This is the only subject related to Pokémon that I agree with the people that say "lololololol but its a pattern so it has to be _____" on, because it just makes sense.

While Pokémon Gold & Silver worked on the original Game Boy, they were always marketed as Gameboy Colour games. How many times have I had to say that?

Also, Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team was released almost a year after Dash.

    Crystal says hi :D

Even if GS were marketed as GBC games, the fact that they could be played on the GB means that the GB was part of that Generation. Then it was cutoff with Crystal.

The Pokemon Company were among the first ones to get a 3DS development kit, which was like in 2008ish?(Don't quote me on that, someone else confirm), so the 3DS's actual release date doesn't necessarily have to have anything to do with what is released.

So you're saying you think Rumble Blast took THAT SHORT A TIME to make? Seeing as it was released even before America just got it? I doubt it, seeing as the new console 'came out not that long ago'(according to you).

Awesome caps for emphasis, bro. Doesn't make what you're saying seem rude or arrogant at all.

I'm not saying anything about Rumble Blast at all, though it is obvious that a game like that would take a lot less time to design and create than one of the main series games like Black/White/etc. If you look at my post, you'll see that I was simply responding to somebody else's post, and not saying anything specific about that particular side-game myself, mostly because I don't care about them. I'd appreciate it if you could consider that I was adjusting my argument to counter somebody else before assuming I'm saying negative things about another game, which is, in fact, not related to this thread at all.

AndRRT does not count... It's partner was on the DS... so whats your point? The 3DS will be out for over a year by the time R/S remakes are released... and unless they do a RRT/BRT for the 3Ds/DS Idon't see another game on the DS...
