I want a new Battle Frontier! I was so hooked on it in Platinum. I wouldn't mind another PWT really, but I'd much rather have a Battle Frontier with new facilities.
Even though I haven't played PWT too much yet, I think I'd prefer either that returning or something new over the Battle Frontier. I like how with the PWT, you don't have to battle for hours just to get to the final match and even though it's still frustrating to lose, it normally doesn't take too long to get back to that final match. I think I enjoyed the Battle Frontier in the fourth generation more so than I did in the third generation, but losing just before the final match after all that word always annoyed me. If they do bring back the Battle Frontier, I'd like to see some new facilities at least.

I absolutely love the PWT, but think it should be saved for third/ sequel games. It should be brought back in every gen, though.
An improved Subway-style facility will probably be in XY.
Why not both?
I loved the concept of the PWT, especially since me and a friend thought of how cool it would be for something like this to be on a Pokemon game a year or so before we knew it actually existed. The Battle Frontier would be OK to make a return if it wasn't ridiculous like the one on Emerald. That is the hardest thing ever. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the Battle Dome come back. The Pyramid, Arena, and Pike can just never come back. Same goes for some of the newer facilities (mainly Castle) if the Frontier made a comeback.

I think they were a little bit too challenging in the 3rd Gen, but it could have been due to the ridiculous move classifications back then and it was way harder to make use of some Pokemon's stats. Another big part of it was I was a n00b back then, so it was likely a majority of my inexperience. Castle and the other newer ones weren't quite as bad, but I think if the Frontier comes back it needs to be fresh.

I think the PWT would be great with some adjustments.
We could have...
-Gym Leaders
-Champions
-Rivals
-Players Streetpassed
-Players met over wifi
-Player registered in Pal Pad
And there can be adjustments to the type of tourney.
4, 8, 16, 32
32 Competitiors. That would be a neat addition.
i like the PWT but please include the E4 of every generation to it whats the use of putting the champion if the E4 is not included...
Something like battle train, yeah necessarily. But the different aspects of it, like a Battle Pyramid....well I don't need them.
I only hope they will not make it look plastic like in 3rd gen and Fire Red/Leaf Green. They're already doing a good job, but I hope it will not fall.
As I said above, both, but thinking over it, I guess some changes could be made to them:
PWT:
Admittedly, I didn't play much of it, but that is because of what I felt lacking about it, the interaction, they should let you interact more with the characters, perhaps even after and outside the tournament, they almost seemed like regular NPCs and/or hollow shells of their previous characters, and that would be fine for random NPCs like the Frontier trainers, however, they aren't NPCs, they're well-estabilished characters, so you'd hope the game would treat them as as such, but no. however, if such interactions were allowed, the PWt would get a huge thumbs-up from me.
BF:
I like being challenged, so providing gimmicks to challenge the player in different ways was a good idea, and furthermore, giving a face to those gimmicks (the facilities and the brains) was an even better idea, as it'd allow us to pit said gimmick against a powerful foe, and link the different battle styles to the diffeferent facilities, making us more flexible, and even improving our own battling styles. The only thing I see that should be changed would be the quantity, we need more than 7 new ways to spice up our game.
The Battle Frontier was friggin' fun! Helps brush up skills and basically weans you into fighting competitively. I don't give a crap about BP and mostly just enjoyed blasting my way through the NPCs. PWT I didn't touch much, mostly because eh, I've fought all those old leaders before. The Frontiers in Gens III and IV brought something new. And the Battle Subway in Gen V took up a good chunk of my playtime.
I still have no signature.
i tottally hope 4 something in that style
