I haven't actively tried to find out anything about the games, it's been all over my Tumblr dash, so unless I stop using Tumblr until I complete the games, I'll be finding stuff out as and when the info's released! And I like knowing stuff anyway.

I'm doing the same thing as a lot of people said, consuming all the prerelease info. I'll certainly stay away from story spoilers as best I can. The biggest BW2 spoiler I read before I played was that Colress was part of Plasma, which turned out not to be the biggest spoiler anyway. I don't know if I want to look up all the Pokemon or not once the full regional dex is released. I've done it every other generation, but not doing it would be an extra challenge in light of the same-month release.
You know, I was planning on finding out as much as possible before the games came out, but now, I think I'm gonna wait and just find everything out by playing through the game!
I know it'll probably kill me trying to avoid spoilers on here, so I may take a break from here for a while if the spoilers become too much.![]()
I spoil myself to death. If the game's good enough, learning anything about it won't affect the experience.
And if I don't hear/see it pre-release, I find it reading ahead in the strategy guides.
Knowing me, I'll probably spoil myself on just about everything. It's a good thing that it's going to be released worldwide, so it's not too bad.
I'll pretty much find out everything but the story. The storyline being something I like to learn about as I go along with the game for the most part. Everything else is fair game, since I like knowing all the Pokemon and where they can be caught. How to prepare myself and such.
I've noticed that a lot of people are also concentrated on strategy and being prepared.
MOAR SPOILERS!!
I thrive on these things every time that there's a new release.
I'll read up on EVERYTHING I can get my eyes on until the game's release date.
After that I try to avoid the internet until I've at least completed the story mode - that way I get to enjoy the story as much as possible without being left in the dark about anything. Some fore warning is good for team planning etc.
Because this thread ultimately serves the same purpose as an existing thread, I'm closing this one. Always be sure to search the forum when you're making a thread to make sure a similar, relatively recent one doesn't already exist.
